[Accidental Voice/Video ->Text; Backdated to Morning]

[The feed begins with noise.

It's sharp, sudden. No video, just the sound of something being roughly rummaged through, with no apparent concern about being quiet or subtle about the affair, before it's shoved away across some surface—falling. Hitting the floor. A box, maybe, with something in it.

Then, a voice: tense, frustrated, uneven, breathing rapid, shallow, and unsteady, words strained and laced with panic.]

Dammit.

Where did—

[More noise.

Then, abruptly, the video feed flickers to life. There's a glimpse of a hand touching the screen, shaking, before the device is quickly shoved away. It slides along the surface of an apparent desk, catching a brief glimpse of a ceiling as it tumbles onto the floor, landing not far away from a cardboard box and a beat-up looking radio. The room it lies in is one dimly lit—the only light provided is due to the streaks of sunlight peeking in from the gaps in the curtain and blind-covered window. Makes it hard to discern much in the way of detail, but it's enough to make out a bed shoved at an odd, jutting angle—nearly shoved up against the closet—with tangled covers. A sign of some sort in front of the long curtain that's covering (as anyone familiar with the layout of the apartments might deduce) the entrance to the balcony, and then, finally, an obscured half-view of the desk shoved against a door. There's more movement off camera, sounds of a drawer being pulled open and gone through, until, finally, there's a quieter sound—perhaps of a lid popping open and its contents retrieved— followed by a period of silence.

Not long afterward, Shinjiro finally steps into view, crossing the room and sliding slowly down onto his bed.]

Shit. Can't even—

[He looks down then, eyes settling on the COMP on the floor. He stares at it for a few moments, grimacing, before standing up again, movement unsteady, reaching down to swipe it up off the floor. If he notices the feed is still recording, he doesn't show it, and the feed, after a moment, cuts off.

Then, a few minutes later, a message:]

[Failed Filter/Private Message to the P3 cast]

i dont know where you all are but get back home and stay the hell inside

just do it alright

ITP: Fight or flight

[She's been nervous lately, an ice-cold feeling in the pit of her stomach that had started shortly before her uncle's arrival. It reminds her, vaguely, of when the Blood Fort had gone up around the school and she, Rin, and their Servants had been frantic to bring it down to save the students. Arturia had never before felt such fear, had never felt such urgency as far as she could remember, and it's the same as now. It's as if she can tell something dangerous is coming, something that could lay waste to everyone here and it will be a battle that not even the mightiest among them could hope to come out of alive.

Her only instinct is to fight, but she has nothing to fight. Not yet. There's only so many demons she can fight at night and with her uncle here she has to be more careful to keep him from worrying. Nonetheless, she needs to do something to combat this strange feeling and there's only one thing she can think of:]

I find I have neglected my training since arriving here. Tell me, would anyone like to spar with me in the Capricorn Ward? I would prefer a fellow swordsman, but any others willing would do.
epicbraille: No? Shame. (Don't gaze me bro!)

002 | [Text]

[ Snake is familiar enough with the COMP to respond to audio and video posts, but text posts have eluded him. Until now. ]

I'm giving the voice to text function a try. How does it look, is it accurate enough? Hello world! Smiley face

[ It's great being a Virgo. None of this event nonsense really matters. You can spend all day making posts like this one.

Of course he's going to use voice > text for his responses. Thank goodness technology is flawless and there'll be no typos or tricky homophones to deal with.

Second Echo

[The COMP video shows Meetra in the same 'meditative' position on her bed that she took the first time she posted here, but with her expression far more grave...even a little afraid. She takes a deep breath before speaking.]

For the last day or two, I've felt...I don't know what I've felt. All I can call it is a disturbance in the Force, as if some great danger were right around the corner. I don't want to alarm anyone, but please be careful. If anyone needs any help or protection, I've awoken my Persona and I can fight, so don't hesitate to call me for help. Until then, I'll just be...in my room...meditating on what the threat could be. I really haven't felt something like this in years...

[It's clear to anyone with enough practice in reading tones of voice that "disturbance in the Force" or not, she's really afraid of something, but doesn't seem to have noticed it. Feel free to call her out on that. Also, any action tags will need to get through a deadbolted apartment door.]

[Oh sure, Theodore has noticed things have been getting a little... hectic recently, especially since both of his sisters seem to be affected, but this might also be the only time these things get given away! Even if he might have to

oh no he's not lying he's lied by omission enough since he came here he's so not.

In any case, he's going to be giving out his ill luck gotten prizes! It expands quite far and, after asking a rather paranoid looking man pleasantly if he could use his cart for his plush display, Theodore's got them all nice and orderly from the first to hopefully to go (Mara--) to the least likely to go (... Mara? Ghoul.) and everything nightmareish in between. And, of course, the best way to advertise is to put it where everyone can see it! The advertisement, that is.

Which is where the network comes in. He's mastered this thing, oh yes he has, and it's staring right at what appears to have once been a simple cart for merchandise now filled to the brim with plushes ranging from large to small of Persona and demons that are not cute nor elegant and most some part a side the doesn't exactly want to think about of his guest.

Theodore clears his throat. The only bad part about this is that it's raining, and he's looking quite soaked. The plush are fine though! Sadly his blue resident clothes are not. Perhaps he should invest in those clothes he'd gotten... Ah, oh well.]

Good day, Hinoto-Ri. Might I interest you all in some... exquisitely made dolls? I have everything from the, ah, powerful Mara to the beginner's Ghoul. If you ask for one, there are chances I may have it so long as it is of the more, um, frightening designs. It is the time of the year for frightful items, correct? [... Maybe this was a bad idea who'd want these things-- stay strong!] And they are all for free. Or, if you'd be willing, I would like to trade them for dolls of the Jack family in particular, and I will give you a large sum if you manage upon a King Frost.

[Fool proof.]

I will be traveling through most of the districts with the exception of the Taurus, so if you see me please do not hesitate to stop me and ask for one. [A pause, and for a second he seems desperate.] Please. I will first be centered in Libra where my current residence is and I will continue throughout the city all day until the last of these are in the hands of someone who will cherish them.

[Please take these from me, his eyes seem to say. But that's ridiculous right? A resident's supposed to accept all parts of an individual. But they never said they had to like the form they came in. A list for reference, by the way, of his wares. Personas in front, Demons in back of his cart. Simply ask!]

VIDEO

This is a bit of a public service announcement, I'm afraid. Although I will state for the purpose right now that I mean no puns by this.

I will start by stating I appreciate both the opportunity to increase my ability to develop these "patra" stones and look into courage boosting potions -- as well as enjoying the money people have been lining my pockets with for them. However, I am currently COMPLETELY out of the ingredients to make the stones, not to mention backstock. And no matter HOW much people beg me, I am still figuring out the right ingredients to make the potions. Might I quite possibly suggest investing in security blankets instead if you all are going to be such paranoid nellies for much longer? At least until I have a chance to restock.

Honestly, what IS getting into people this weekend? It's quite irritating.

First Sunrise [Video]

[ Today Hinoto-Ri is greeted by some panicked kid's yells over the network. Sorry about that. He's a fresh arrival, but is already feeling the effects of the Scorpio event. ]

Mr. Butterfly-mask--!! Are you out there!? I-I need to know if my friends from The World are here! I remember, I remember everything... Maybe they're here too?

Oz-kun!! Hope-kun!! Yuuta-kun!?! Please tell me you're okay!

O-oh no what if... what if I'm the only one here... What if... what if they're... [ His eyes are starting to water. Someone stop it before it gets worse? Or not. Your call. ]

Hello, sorry I've been out of touch recently there were somethings that need my attention. Could someone tell me what I've missed? Oh and I noticed there's been more people coming in lately so to the new arrivals....[ehem] Good day to you. I'm Ryuusei Sakuta. I live at Libra 8 - 04. If you need any assistance, please feel free to approach me.

1st Screw [Video]

[The feed flicks on to show a rather panicked looking teenage girl in a Japanese high school uniform who seems to be trying pretty desperately to hold it together - at least for long enough to find out why she's suddenly found herself in unfamiliar surroundings.]

Um... I'm very sorry, but I seem to have gotten lost and ended up here by mistake.  Could anyone point me in the direction of the Shinonome household?  I really need to get home in time to make dinner tonight.

[There is a sudden light clicking noise, like small gears turning.  Nano's eyes go wide for a moment, and she quickly points the camera toward her feet instead.]

Ah... if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it very much!

ITP: Looking for someone; Part 1

Hm...

[You can see a confused face staring into the feed, it's really clear that this someone's not that well-versed in terms of technology, as the feed shook for a while until the person realized that.

Yes, it's recording.]

What a marvel of technology, I'll have to commend the creators of this device for their ingenuity...

Nevertheless, I have a question to you all perusing this device.

...

Have you seen a blonde girl calling herself Arturia? You see, she is my [father, niece, thing...] niece, and it'd really help my conscience if I know of her whereabouts.

[That said, he's going to just. Shut the feed off.]

The First Move [Audio -> Video]

Very impressive, Sebastian. [The words seem to come from a distance. But the gasp that follows them is much closer.] ...

How the hell did I - [The speaker cuts his words short. He senses that he's not alone and it isn't long before he finds the recorder.]

Video? [It's said awkwardly like he doesn't know what it is or what it could possibly entail. Luckily he doesn't have to think about it for long. The screen pops up - as if on cue - and he is...

Being recorded.

Despite his less than welcoming frown, Ciel is a prettyhandsome boy in a Weston College school uniform. Though something must have happened to his right eye. It's covered by an eye-patch.]

This technology is foreign to me. If anyone happens to be listening [He can't imagine he's being seen on multiple screens!] I would appreciate some assistance. My name is Ciel Phantomhive and I need to return to Weston College.

[ anonymous text* ]

What do you do when you miss someone a lot?

[ *Pit is using voice-to-text since he can't type. Expect some...interesting errors every now and then. ]

anyways uhhh stuff? new book's pretty cool though, like the plot and the characters.

[Yes. That book being recent rumor mutation. And that he sincerely enjoyed reading it.]

[Voice]

Look, I'm just going to ask this straight out.

Who here's dead?

[... Smart ass responses incoming in three... two... one.]

And no, we don't need to swap death stories, that's dumb.

[METHOD_ENTRY_001] [VIDEO]

[The feed begins--and will later end--with the face of a young woman. Her expression is stern as she carefully sets her new communication watch on the nightstand. She sits on her bed, arms folded and legs crossed, holding herself with dignity and poise. The image she's trying to present is somewhat ruined by a haphazard pile of stuffed animals behind her--but she's obviously trying to make the best of an uncertain situation.]

Good evening, Hinoto-Ri. My name is Cloche Leythal Pastalia. [She pauses--just for a moment--as if there was some other part of her name that she was used to including.] Like many of you who read this network, I am a new arrival to this city--a "Registered Extraterrestrial Guest." I arrived just this afternoon, in fact.

My home is Metafalss, which floats above the Sea of Death in Ar Ciel. [She unfolds her arms, gracefully resting one hand over her heart.] If those names mean anything to you, I would truly appreciate it if you made contact with me. Even if we were strangers there, please, do not hesitate to contact me--collaboration could only beneficial to us all.

I am eager to learn more of the circumstances not just of this world, but of those that you call home. I honestly believe that, by understanding each other and working together, we can better come to understand this city and the mysteries surrounding it. [Cloche stands and retrieves her watch. She walks carefully, so as to not jar the camera.] To facilitate that mutual understanding, I would like to share some information about something that has come with me from Metafalss.

And that... [At this point, she reaches the door of her balcony which she opens, with a flourish.] Is the Infel Pira. [Cloche turns the camera to the sky. Although it is tremendously far away, the latest addition to Hinoto-Ri's skyline is visible from Cloche's bedroom window.] The Infel Pira is my Song Server, the source of Song Magic for myself and other IPD Reyvateils. The shape may seem strange to you but, I assure you, it is a benign structure. As the Maiden of Aqua, I swear that it will cause no harm to the innocent citizens of this city.

[With that said, Cloche returns the camera's view to her own face.] I can only hope that my explanation has eased any concerns you may have about it. [She closes her eyes, looking contemplative.] This evening, I know very little. [She opens them again, a determined expression on her face.] But tomorrow morning, I shall know more. Each and every day presents itself a new opportunity to learn.

To all those who have listened... thank you very much for your time. I wish you all nothing but the best. Good night.

[Cloche does not fumble with the buttons of the watch. She neatly ends the feed after her closing remarks.]

Good at Technology

[The feed cuts in with a face of a man who looks like he's not sure if he just did something right. He just sits there, looking curiously and impatiently at the screen. Possibly also a man who got the "start recording" and "stop recording" buttons mixed up, and so started actually recording AFTER he had finished saying his piece.

After a minute or so...]

...Why am I even wasting my time with this?

(no subject)

Hey, everyone. This is the newest member of the police force speaking here. I had basic training back home, so I got through the training here really fast. And they're even letting me do plainclothes duty. But see for yourself:

[At this point, Asem turns the camera feed to his shiny new badge.]

So, if you need help, let me know, all right? I'm always happy to help.

But that's not all. Can I speak to anyone from a world more technologically advanced than this one? I don't mean by like twenty years or so, either -- I'm talking about civilizations with space colonies and advanced combat machines. I have a few things I'm willing to pay to have built here, so if anyone out there can make them, I'd really appreciate it.

Are any of you familiar with Carl Jung? If not, then I suggest you do.

But that is not my reason to come to you today. Rather it is to, perhaps, open your eyes should you chose to do so.

What makes good, good and evil, evil? Should both be simply placed as one or the other? If the 'evil' become the ruling force, would the rules be reversed? If someone steps up to remove a tyrant, are they doing good, or, in the eyes of others, are they being the ones who are evil?

...Or are we what makes these forces exist in the first place? Can good be really called good if there is no evil to defeat, no goal for them to attain?

You were all called here for a reason, but should you believe one side...or the other about what is the truth? As we become more enlightened, we tend to forget what came before. And as history has a tendency to repeat itself...

A man looks above to the nearby mountain. He knows not how it was made, and therefore decides that a god put it there. Is this man false? Scientifically, perhaps, we know that mountains are produced by the movement of lithospheric plates. Yet when we knew nothing of this, we saw the truth in a god. And so, this idea is born and now exists. Man gave it power, and the ability to create the mountain is now that god's.

Personas are reflections of a character's inner self, yet they are the gods, demons and powerful creatures of our worlds.

So then...can a man become a god...or was he always one?
