Backdated to May 13, VIDEO

[It's taken the better part of the day for Alex to get his bearings and settle into the cramped lodgings that have been provided for his use. The place is a far cry from the one he used to have, it makes him quite glad he never had many belongings. Fitting things in here would be a nightmare.

He's examining the one object he did receive rather dully, slowly turning the clear container around in his hands and eying the powder inside as it shifts about. An inconsequential piece of junk for most people but for him it's going to be a constant reminder of the past. More immediately it's reminded him there's something he needs to ask this new madhouse, boy won't this be fun.]

So, this clearly isn't another F3. Not sure if I should be relieved or not about that, guess I'll reserve my judgement for the time being. I've still got questions though, very important questions.

First off, are there any others here from the Facility? You can't miss them, gaudy collars, no survival instincts, most probably suffering from some form of post-traumatic stress. I'm actually looking for someone specific out of any that might be here... but if she is here, knowing her she'll be breaking down my door the second she sees this. [That thought brings a flicker of a smile, but it instantly dies away when he considers that she might not be here. He shakes his head and pushes that prospect to the back of his mind, it's not something he wants to dwell on right now.]

Secondly, if anyone recognizes me at all it'd probably be better for everyone involved if you just spoke up now. I'd really hate to find out about that second hand, it could lead to all sorts of unpleasantness.

1st Pokeball - An Unwelcome Prank

The camera feed snaps on suddenly, revealing a creature somewhat like a fox staring directly into it before winking and placing a finger to its lips. It snaps to attention as a young-sounding voice calls out from behind it.

"Okay, Zoroark, time for rehearsal! Today it's Brycen-Man, okay?"

The outline of the fox-like creature - Zoroark? - shimmers and distorts, resolving into a strangely-dressed man. It walks away from the camera and takes up a stance across from a young girl in an equally outlandish outfit, who clears her throat before drawing herself up and pointing directly at the masked man the fox turned into.

"Hold it! The Messenger of Truth and Ideals, Riolu Girl, is here! Stop right there, Brycen-Man! I cannot allow your mischief!"

The masked man laughs at this. He snickers so hard, in fact, that the illusion drops, leaving Riolu Girl staring at him, completely unsure of what's so funny. Still snickering, the fox points at the video feed with one finger, the masked girl looking in that direction. Her eyes wide behind her mask, she scrambles for the table the COMP is resting on.

"AAAA! That's not funny, Zoroark!"

Staring directly into the video feed, she starts babbling frantically.

"You didn't see that! NOBODY SAW THAT. THERE WAS NOTHING TO SEE."

I am having... some issues. Mainly, her.

[The video opens with Nikolai looking exasperated, and a small Pixie can be heard from time to time, zipping around in the background. It's yammering excitedly to him about... well, nothing, really, and occasionally comes over to give Nikolai some adoring gazes before taking off again, trying to get his attention.]

This has something to do with the fortunes at the festival yesterday, doesn't it. I should have known something would happen. это пиздец...

I can't even go outside. When I walked outside and got near traffic, car alarms started going off. It only seemed to be when I walked close to them, no one else. So, ah, if you were wondering what the noise was outside Pisces apartment this morning, I apologize.

If anyone has any idea wh-- [There's some clambering noises off camera, the sound of something tumbling over. There's an "Oops!" out of the Pixie. Nik goes from looking put out to pissed off.] Hey, I said to not touch the guitar--!

But for anyone who's familiar with the major media outlets here, how does one get into contact with them? I was a journalist back home, so I'm looking for a way to put my skills to good use while I'm here. I'd be grateful for any information on this.

[After getting a little settled in the city - which is to say, finding a place to sleep for the night and a way to get food - Judas thought he might try to contact those who had been brought here.

He's clearly nervous on camera, and looks like he hasn't had good sleep in weeks - which he hasn't. He never does.]

"On Friday, in my world it is the anniversary of the release of the Gekiganger III movie. Because of that and some operating cost issues, the Nadesico will be showing not only the movie, but also the full series in its hangar, as well as a few private rooms if someone wishes to rent them out for viewing. If someone is interested in setting up a snack bar I have the cooking equipment just lack the experience so I'm certain something can be worked out."

[ When the feed turns on today, there's a pretty amused Yuri Nakamura, sipping her can of cola as she grins, being nonchalant as she speaks. It's almost as if she's already brushed the whole events aside, and honestly? She has.

After all, she has to play the role of the leader. ]

If any of you guys are still worrying about what happened, you should just stop. Just because you did it doesn't mean it's your fault. Things got out of control and people got out of control because of things that are, at present, out of our control.

[Even without actual video, it's pretty clear that the speaker is rather exhausted, or just too beyond putting emotional inflection in his voice.]

The Pleiades, attendants of Artemis and the lost daughters of Atlas, became one with the night sky to comfort their father. Orion, the Great Hunter who was slain by the Scorpion of Artemis, sought to conquer them. However, in his way lies the Great Bull, with it's fiery eye fixated on the Hunter.

[There's a pause, however brief, and his tone shifts to something a little more humanlike.]

Though there are many variations on these myths, it may be wise to also look in to them.

[It seems Sora is flopped on his bed, a white and orange paw moves into view to touch his cheek only to leave again. He seems preoccupied with something he's doing near him.]

Man, I wish someone had warned me that those big enemies are tough. And tricky. It really wasn't fun trying to beat that thing with only part of my abilities. Still, we won and that's cool. Though I stunk afterwards.

[Now he flips over, disturbing Mittens who'd been on his stomach.]

Anyway, I've got some questions. Can you have more then one of those Persona things and how do you get them if you can? Can you choose what elemental type you get or is it random?

I have taken the liberty of creating a document with a collection of data regarding astrological signs, to be used as a reference regarding both past and future zodiac events. I have also begun compiling a list of effects experienced in previous zodiac events, but this list is incomplete.

Therefore, I am putting this out to you, the Visitors of Hinoto-Ri, to help me complete this document. The more data that can be amassed, the more likely we will be able to prepare for and respond to future zodiac events.

This file can be edited by anyone who has access to it. Feel free to add or correct any information you desire.

[Rather than mingle with the people as he usually does, Hizumi’s actually been staying behind the counter today, fiddling around with his COMP during those precious moments between eager Golden Week customers. Just going by his expression, it’s difficult to say if he’s actually contemplative or just bored.

Well, it couldn’t hurt to go ask, now could it? Especially since mood aside, he’s still managed to get his name in the high score lists of about a quarter of the games in the place. Let it not be said he’s not a hard worker.]

I, for one, would like to apologize for my behavior last week. I'm aware that it was out of my control, but it was still highly foolish of me.

While I'm taking responsibility for my rash actions, I would also like to turn myself in for the firetruck debacle. It's only appropriate since I... ugh, decided to make myself captain of the vehicle for the evening.

[She cringes in embarrassment. It's like she was poxed again, except without the inexplicable craving for coleslaw.]

...And, since I have everyone's attention, has anyone seen my husband around? Very tall, yellow hair, answers to the name of Guybrush, looks a bit like a flooring inspector? He doesn't appear to be in his apartment and he's not answering any of my calls. The last time we had one of these astrological sign happenings, it affected him rather badly and I'm worried that he may have run off and hidden himself somewhere and hasn't gotten word that everything has blown over. If anyone sees him, I would appreciate if you let him know that I'm looking for him? Thank you!

[The video feed turns on, and Naminé appears, standing in front of the stark white walls of the hospital. While she appears very calm, her eyes keep glancing sideways back to where the subject of her post is undoubtedly resting.]

Hi everyone. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Naminé, Kairi's sister. I'm posting this message for a few reasons. The first is to apologize on her behalf to the people she kidnapped and temporarily imprisoned last Friday. She was under the effects of the city event, and didn't mean any harm. [A wry smile.] If anything it was a sign that she cares very deeply for you.

[The smile fades a little.] The second thing I need to tell you is that some things happened at the end of the day that caused her to fall unconscious. Normally this wouldn't be anything to worry about, and it wasn't, at first. But she lapsed into a coma over the weekend, and I'm not sure when she'll be waking up.

I have watched over this city for many nights now. Not nearly as many such as you who I know have been here far longer.

I have given what I could to support it during its darkest hour each night, in light of your presence and others here.

It is not good enough.

People have fallen where I am not, and I risk others' lives where I am.

I am not good enough.

It is getting worse each night. The swarms increase, and they will only continue to. I fear for what will happen to this city in time should new kinds show their faces. They are even stronger than the ones that threaten us now.

I might have doomed us all by my mere existence here. It is only because of me that this trouble exists in the first place. I am the reason we will fall.

I will watch until the end. Maybe it would be better if I only watched, knowing I can accomplish nothing against the inevitable. I have seen what some of you are capable of, greater feats with your Persona than I.

Maybe you will be able to do something against what comes soon.
