Hello. My name is DLN-001 Quake Woman, but my creator calls me Tempo. If that seems strange to any of you, it is due to the fact that I am actually a robot created by a scientist named Noelle LaLinde.

My purpose is geological surveillance, but I can't imagine it would be of much use here. I suppose I should seek employment, but I'm not sure how quite to begin. I would be thankful for help in any way.

That said, I will do my best not to be a bother to anyone. There are many things I do not understand, but I was created with a capacity to learn, so I imagine that will come in time.

Welcome to Hinoto-Ri, Tempo. My name's Meetra. We've actually got a decent mechanical population here, at least among Visitors, so don't worry about being out of place. As for that geological surveillance you mentioned...what exactly can you do?

Really? Someone said so already, but the impression I got that it was relatively small...

And well, I can sense and map with vibrations, I'm equipped with resistant armor, my primary weapon is a rock busting drill, and my sensory equipment and programmed knowledge base are top of the line...!

Proportional to Visitors in general, I mean. It's not quite as big a number as back home, but all the robots here seem highly advanced. I or a few other people might be interested in seismic maps of the city, if you can do that. There's a lot we don't know about this place - and again, I mean Visitors in particular.

I see... well, I would definitely be up to making the attempt. Of course, we'd need to talk about compensation, and I'd also need some extra equipment...
