[So, it's the first time that Neku has actually bothered saying anything to the network. He hadn't really talked all that much on the network back on Alpha Omega, so the habit has... kind of stuck. Personal interaction has been more his thing, and even then he's still wary of the people he doesn't know.
Of course, the first time he actually talks on his own rather than in reply to someone else, it's about his cat. Go figure.
Said cat is perched on his shoulder - or half on his shoulder and half on his bed, more like, since he's sitting on the floor with his back against the mattress. And the fuzzy, black-and-white cat is... currently chewing on his hair.]
--hey, cut that out!
[Neku swats at the cat, who backs off but never truly leaves his perch. The cat gets a hard glare, and then those eyes turn back to what he was doing, accompanying a frustrated sigh.]
So, I have a cat that's used to roaming around a sort of bigger area, and these apartments are driving him nuts, I guess. Kind of nervous to let him run around in the building. But he's driving me nuts.
[The cat meows, loud and of the whining sort, which earns a rather flat look from Neku.]
... anyone have any ideas?

Lots and lots of play. That's what I did when I had the kittens cooped up in my suite. Or playdates with other cats.
video;
I play with him. And I take him over to Shiki's. But he still goes nuts. He keeps knocking things over and making a mess and I'm pretty sure he's doing it on purpose now.
video;
Have you tried taking him out to that biodome area on the floor and just let him wander there for a few hours? I take Mittens there.

video;
[Mittens grew up trapped in F1 mostly, so there wasn't a concern about running away. By the time they started living in the other part of the station she was pretty well trained.]
You could try turning your apartment into a cat heaven. Put up shelves and stuff for him to climb all over. It's like adding more space to the apartment for him.
video;
... huh. Think that'd really work?
video;
You won't know until you try. I could help you put them up if you want. Make 'em too if we just get the supplies.
video;
... sure. I'd like that.
video;
I'll come by tomorrow to help. We can go looking for supplies.

[Nami he's never had a cat please halp.]

No, not at all. He'd have plenty of things to play with and look at, and it might wear him out enough that he'll calm down a little once he's back at your apartment.

You could buy him a kitty harness from the pet store and take him on walks? I don't really have much of a problem with Lady, though I think she misses having Koma around all the time to mess with.
video;
Somehow I can't get the idea of someone taking a cat for a walk. ... they probably miss each other, though. Kinda wish these apartments were bigger...

Did you get any good suggestions?
