The school year just started, right? Can't believe it's already spring again...

[Well uh, "again" was kind of a relative term since he certainly hadn't been here for a year but still.]

But it's not REALLY mandatory to attend here like it is at home, is it? At least, maybe not for us, they said it wasn't necessary a little... Besides, we've gone this long without it, right? I don't know, with everything that's gone on, I just feel like it's kind of pointless. I'd much rather spend my time helping out around here. Though I guess I haven't done much of that lately...

Maybe we could just skip straight to University? Except I wouldn't know what to study anyway...

I suppose it is better than sitting around all day.
Still, I don't know if sitting around in a classroom all day is much better...

It can be kind of boring, but it's a great place to meet up with your friends if nothing else. And it still teaches things that will be useful later in life.

I guess you've got a point on the friends thing at least.
But I'm honestly not sure how much I'm gonna be using advanced math and English in my future. (┳◇┳)

That's when you score low enough to not take the advanced classes duh.

I mean, I don't really take advanced classes, but I still ended up studying most of the time...

No, of course not on purpose. There's just...a fine balance to strike between studying and the rest of your life!

Ah, I guess so.
Most of the time when I studied hard enough I just eventually ended up giving up anyway...
But I think it's probably a bad idea to spend so much time studying and going to school anyway, right?!

No matter what you intend to do, you won't get very far at it without a high school education!

...or so my grandmother says, anyway.
