The school year just started, right? Can't believe it's already spring again...

[Well uh, "again" was kind of a relative term since he certainly hadn't been here for a year but still.]

But it's not REALLY mandatory to attend here like it is at home, is it? At least, maybe not for us, they said it wasn't necessary a little... Besides, we've gone this long without it, right? I don't know, with everything that's gone on, I just feel like it's kind of pointless. I'd much rather spend my time helping out around here. Though I guess I haven't done much of that lately...

Maybe we could just skip straight to University? Except I wouldn't know what to study anyway...

I guess it depends on how you look at your time here. Are you trying to accomplish something? Or just waiting to go back home?

I'd rather look at this as time working towards something bigger. 'Saving the city' isn't an easy task and I doubt just killing monsters is going to do it. There's more ways for us to help than just fighting. It might not seem like school does much right now but it's still putting us in a better place, like giving us a degree so we can get better jobs, or even just letting us meet other people and make friends with them. The power of Persona has a lot to do with our bonds with others, after all.

But that's just how I see it. I like having some kind of goal to work towards. I'm not really sure what I'd do without one.

I'm not really that good at being goal-oriented, lol. I don't really have a goal here either, but I'm not really jumping on the next train to go home.

I guess I see what you mean about the school thing. It's just hard to really feel like it matters in the big picture, even though I'm sure it does. Maybe that's just me being me...
