[The feed starts up with a slightly sheepish-looking Aoi. This... may have something to do with the large gate behind her.]

So... It seems my house has appeared in Hinoto-Ri. It's strange seeing it here instead of in Tokyo, but... I've been in contact with the government and they have agreed to pass the ownership over to me. It will take another week or so before it has electricity, so I will be moving here then.

However... It's a large building, so I'm not sure if I can take care of it by myself. [Understatement.] So, I thought I would ask the network if anyone here knows how to maintain a garden, or would be willing to help me with housecleaning. I can't offer much in the way of money, but there is plenty of space if you don't mind using a futon. I would be happy to offer living space in exchange for help around the house.

[So yeah, there's a large building in Libra ward now, and has been for the past week or so. But today, the gate is open, and Aoi can be found walking through the familiar rooms. If your character seems interested, she may just give them a tour!]

"Oh, I... don't think I'd need any extra space. I mean, it wouldn't be much different in size from the apartments' beds, just a different shape. I just... wasn't certain if it would be all right with you, to bring in more furniture like that, and I didn't want it to be a surprise, and...."

He paused. Suddenly, saying it out loud made it sound entirely ridiculous, somehow. He gave a sheepish smile. "Better to ask and be certain?"

....Or did she mean as in set aside a room for him to move into here, if he was to stay and help out? He'd assumed he would be, since that's what she'd said she was offering, but-- No, he didn't feel like hurting his brain trying to figure this out. He'd brush that thought aside for the moment, since they'd surely work it out between them anyhow.

"But you would still need room to set it up, wouldn't you? And it would be easier if we didn't need to dismantle it every day to make room for the other furniture. I think having your own room would probably be for the best."

"Oh." So she did simply mean a room of his own? "Right. It probably would be."

That's it. No more second-guessing in this conversation with her; if he's wondering about anything else, he'll just have to be straightforward and ask about it.

"I was actually heading out to the market for some groceries... but after that, I could certainly come by and start helping out here, if you'd like?" Oh look, he's available right away!

"That would be great. I'll be out for a little bit while I bring my things over, but..."

She fishes around in her pocket, retrieving a key. "This will work on the main gate. If I'm not back by the time you get back, you can let yourself in."

It's her only key, but if it's just the gate, she can easily clear that herself with a single jump if she needs to.

He could get over the gate easily enough as well, but he wasn't going to bring that up; it probably wouldn't even occur to him to try yet.

"All right. I...." He paused, not quite taking the key yet, thinking about it. "If you're heading back to your apartment to get your things... perhaps we should meet up again there? I'll put my groceries away, do what I need to with them, and then we can bring your things here together? It should go more easily with two than one, shouldn't it?"

"Ah... That might work out better after all." She'll just pocket the key again, making a mental note to get a copy made at some point for Avitus.

"Then, shall we go get things settled for now and meet up later?"

He gave her a nod. "Probably best to, yes. Is there anything I should pick up for you while I'm out? Were you hungry or anything?"

"No, I think I will be fine for now. I'll probably go out for dinner sometime later."

She... should probably try to learn how to cook properly now that she has access to a kitchen, shouldn't she? But there's also only so much you can do in one day...

A nod again. "If you're certain. I'll see you in the apartment tower, then."

He'll give her a little bob of a bow again before he turns and heads back out. One thing at a time, Aoi! He's got an actual income, so even if neither of them get to be all that good at cooking, at least they'll be able to afford for her to get some good-quality takeout?

"Alright, I'll see you then!"

And... so she does, some time later! Thankfully, she doesn't have very many belongings to her name here in Hinoto-Ri.

Back from the store, he's put his ~~desserts~~ food away, fed as needed, and was done at his apartment for the time being.

So, that taken care of, he stepped out and knocked on her apartment's door.

"Aoi?"

"It's open!"

If Avitus steps inside, he will find Aoi with a meager box to contain the small number of items she had accumulated over her stay, as well as a long cloth bag slung over her shoulder - a means of carrying her naginata, although Avitus may not realize that.

He opened the door, glancing around the front room briefly as he took a step in. "Was there anything I might assist you with?"

She shakes her head. "Mmm. I think I have everything. There really isn't too much here."

She looks around the apartment one last time, giving a bittersweet smile. "Even though I spent a while here, it looks hardly lived in at all... I suppose I just never really felt fully at home."

"That's... all that you have? Nothing else came with you here to this place?" He gave the box a look, clearly well enough surprised by this. Even he had more things in his apartment -- clothes, a few pillows, more bedding that he'd bought while here, some art supplies and tools and... all right, so he'd bought a lot of the art supplies and made things with them while he was here, but still!

"I'm afraid so. And most of these are from home, as well." She lifts the box only slightly.

"But... Now that my house has come here, I suppose you could say everything I own, and then a little more has come with me."
