Heeeey, is this thing even on? How am I supposed to even tell if it's on?

[ It's definitely on, and Chie's on camera. Just your average short haired, kung fu loving steak addict. ]

Listen up! I have a question I totally need answered.

Has anyone ever seen two copies of people? Like, there's one, who knows everything you know, and then another who doesn't?

[ Chie's not exactly a wordsmith, she's better at kicking people. ]

Oh, and does anyone know where I can get the best steak in the city? This is very important, I haven't had anything as good as Aiya's beef bowl since I got here!

[ Maybe some manly boxer will be able to point her in the right direction. ]

Like, I met one of friends here, then I met him again, but he was a different person with different memories and everything!

Does that really happen? It's like something out of a TV drama!

[Nano watches a lot of those.]

I know, right?! But I swear, I've seen two different Yosuke's! Although not at the same time..

How is that even possible?

I don't know, I guess time travel or something! I saw some movies like it once, but I didn't really pay attention enough..

[ Because in her mind it all would be solved if Chie had watched more movies on the subject of alternate worlds and the like. ]

I don't know much about time travel either. I wonder if that's how it really happened...

I'm getting a lot of conflicting answers, it doesn't seem like anyone's really sure about this whole thing. I wish they'd just come and talk to us..

I wonder if the two Yosuke-sans have met each other yet.

If they do, will time and space explode and destroy us all?

W-why would that happen?

I don't know, isn't that the kinda thing that happens so you're not supposed to interact with yourself if you go back in time?

Then we need to stop them from meeting each other! What if they don't know that rule!

[ Chie was half-joking, she didn't expect anyone to believe her.. ]

W-Well, I don't actually know if that's true or not..

[Nano will believe just about anything. She's the most naive little moebot.]

B-but it might be...!

[Her journal name is especially apropos now, as the key in her back is spinning rather quickly in reaction to her panic.]

[ Someone who believes anything, and Chie who says stupid things all the time, they're a dangerous pair. ]

I mean, I'm sure it's just in the movies..

[ Just trying to calm the girl down...when she notices that odd looking key. ]

H-Hey, what's that sticking out your back?!

If you say so...

[The key begins to crank more slowly as Nano calms herself down, eventually stopping completely.]

O-oh, that...? Um, it's a wind-up key.

[Nano turns slightly to one side, blushing a bit. It's going to take her a while to get used to being called out on that, even if she's decided to stop hiding it. On the plus side, it seems to have served as a decent distraction from being worried about the sudden destruction of all life.]

[ Chie's mouth opens a little, trying to decide what to say. You don't see a girl with a key out of her back very often, but you also don't get sent to a strange inter-dimensional city everyday either. So she decides to try and not be offensive about it. ]

Oh, I get it. That must be a pain to drive in a car like that, huh?

I'm not old enough to get a driver's license yet.

[Considering she is technically only like a year and a half or so, if you go by when she was built.]

But it does make sitting in chairs a little hard.

I haven't actually tried driving a car, but I do have a scooter!

I guess you could just cut out a key-shaped hole in your chairs and you'll be all set! [ Chie smiles a bit while hoping she hasn't said anything stupid. She's seen a lot of strange stuff here like people with wings and the like, so a girl with a key in her back seems pretty normal in the grand scheme of things. ]

[Nano's used to people saying stupid things. It happens on a daily basis at home.]

I don't think the school would let me do that... I usually just turn the seat sideways instead.

Oh, yeah, I guess I didn't think of that.

...So if you wind it up enough do you transform in a giant mech or anything? [ Because that would be too cool.. ]

[Nano blinks. It isn't that she's unfamiliar with those sorts of shows, but she never even considered that she could easily have actually been built that way.]

Oh, haha, I see. [ Chie just rubs her head awkwardly. ]

I was just thinking how cool it would be to have a transformation sequence, you know?

My attachments don't really do anything useful.

[And Nano rubs her own head awkwardly in turn.]
