I assume you have all educated yourselves on what Philemon's intentions and goals are for this city in his latest charade, or you would not be wasting your time humoring that ludicrous and insipid excuse for literature.

Now, what about Nyarlathotep? Have any of you figured out anything about his plans for this city, or are you more concerned with petty child's play?

Trying to save everyone will only result in people stretching themselves too thin. Look at all the casualties of the fools who stepped in during those attacks. And when they're all in the hospital, who is to protect after..? They're lucky that the Anoli didn't simply launch another wave of attacks after all the defenders were taken care of!

Oh, I hadn't even thought of that.
That would've been a smart thing to do, but I suppose we're lucky they didn't think of that...
I'm sure some people were unharmed, but not enough to protect every vulnerability.
Maybe they'll at least consider that next time.

They don't think in terms of long-term. They think taking things as they come is fine and well. No one seems to want to come up with plans that cover more than a small span of time...

It's refreshing to talk to someone who isn't concerned with being good and "doing what's right". I was wondering if there were any wishing to be more informed or perhaps of other mindsets. There's so many "hero" types in this city I was afraid I would never have a decent conversation again.
