[Kanji is...admittedly really bad at keeping up with the times around here. He'd been way too concentrated on getting his little plush toy booth up and running in the Scorpio district, spending most of the week after his return from the tower in his room, working diligently. Unfortunately, he'd soon realize the folly of his ways and that that it would have better for him to do so, considering the strange events that have been happening all day when he finally did go out...in the afternoon, he finally posted something on the network.]

This might seem like a strange question to ask, but has anyone else be approached by the girls and...older women from the city asking you to bite them? It's freaking me out....

[He had to run away from a crowd at one point. For someone who always had trouble with girls, this is an even worse personal experience. But maybe if he'd actually listened to Yu's dramatic reading, or gone to Junes this week Kanji would have had a good idea of what is going on. Right now, there is only confusion. That would probably change soon.]

Ahh uh...don't worry about it, I was just sewin' up a few toys to sell. Should have spoken out more.

[Rise can probably hear the women behind him chattering it up. Kanji seems really nervous as he continues to talk, in a hushed whisper.]

But right now with the way the women are all lookin' at me right now, I just want to make a run for home...all starrin' at me like they expect me to do something. At this point I think I'd rather face off against a few Hanakos instead...

[Yes. Yes it's that bad.]

How'd you do it, Rise? Man I'm already crackin' under the pressure...it can't just be because my toys are cute, is it?

...yeah I didn't even realize they'd been doin' that...[wait] wait...d'you know what's going on? Cause I sure don't...

It's the same thing that's been happening to "Yusokue"-senpai. There's a book with characters based on some of us visitors, especially him.

[Fortunately, Rise's reflexes are sharp enough to only get her partially deafened as she yanks the COMP earpieces away from her head for a moment.]

I guess the story needed a big, strong, sensitive guy for balance?
