Study 01 [Video]

[A few of you saw this girl two weeks ago, when she hit the ground a cold, lost mess. She's looking better now, transmitting from what looks like an apartment.]

So... I've had some time to settle down and try to figure out what the hell is going on. I've got the basics of this place down well enough, but... there's a lot I'm still not getting. I think I'll figure it out as time goes on, though. There's no point in being a researcher if you let other people make your discoveries, after all.

That said, I've kind of been ignoring everything for the past several days, working this out. So, uh... hi? Does anyone have some free time they'd be willing to spend with me, or at least talk to me? I could stand to get out of my room. And I know myself well enough to know that if I try to go do something by myself, it'll turn into a research trip.

Not necessarily, but I know I need to get out and do something. I've been doing research basically since I got here, and I need a break or I'm going to start missing things.

I was trying to see what I could figure out about this world, without having to get into serious digging or having to ask others. I've cobbled enough together that I have a vague idea of what's going on, but... I need a break for now, before I do anything more serious.

Well... normally I do research in my spare time, too, just less important research. I guess I read. Lately I've gotten used to spending my time adventuring to work out my theories, but I'm not sure I can get good data while I'm here. There are... differences between this place and my home.

If you like reading, there's always the library. There's also plenty to explore. It's more a matter of mindset, I'd imagine.
