In light of recent events, I would like to offer my services to those who need them. While what I have to offer is...rather antiquated compared to the things in this world, it's still useful.

Firstly, if you need weapons or armor, I can craft them for you. However, I cannot enchant them, as I lack the means to do so in this world. Not that such enchantments are necessary for a weapon in the hand of a true warrior, but I've found they can be helpful. This world is full of strange things and people, perhaps there's someone else who can do so.

Secondly, I offer myself as someone to train with. I dare not count myself as some master of combat, but there is much to be learned from each other, especially with such a diverse group of people. This is as much for myself as it is for others.

Lastly, I again offer myself as an ally to those who cannot fight, or would like some assistance in facing the perils of this world. It's a bit reactionary, yes, but there's no harm in being prepared.

As these are services, payment would be appreciated, but isn't strictly necessary. I am willing to work with various situations, but if you come to me looking to get something for nothing, we will have a problem.

Not particularly, no. There's always been too much going on for me to really consider stopping to teach.

I was asking because my school showed up recently. It's a school for knights, so there's a building for swordplay practice. I kind of want to open it up to the public since I know a lot of people want to practice swordplay, but it wouldn't be much of a school without teachers.

...not that you have to. I was just babbling. Sorry.

That all depends on what needs to be forged. Different things take longer, different materials, and so on.

Somewhere in the area of 22500 yen, I think - I'm still learning the local currency and trying to compare it to what I know from home. Also, steel's as 'classy' as I can get right now in terms of materials.

Well, craftsmanship does carry a high price, alas - I would also be willing to work with you on alternate methods of payment. Perhaps do odd jobs here and there for me to work toward the amount. While I can't just give things away, I will be flexible on how things are paid for, given the situation we're in.

Very well. I am skilled with a variety of weapons, but I'm partial to maces and swords, with or without a shield.

Katanas? I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with that kind of blade.

They're good, sharp blades. They have a different weight and shape from Western swords, but katanas are what I was trained in.

Western? I know Hammerfell favors wide, curved blades compared to the straighter ones we have in Cyrodiil and Skyrim...
