[This file registers as a regular video, but upon activation it displays significantly differently than a normal video - instead of showing a person in a specific place, it projects a translucent, 2D image of a girl on the COMP glasses' display. Greetings, Guests of Hinoto-Ri! My name is *Hyun-ae - don't pronounce the star, it's simply to show my status as an AI. I was recently installed as a new, 25/7 administrator of the network: simply put, I'm here to monitor things and make sure it all keeps running smoothly.

My word, a research ship...! I wish I could... well, I lack a physical form, so maybe you could show me to Nadesico yourself sometime, via video. But that's really exciting to hear!

Feel free to check camera 18 by the park. I believe its 18, I'm still trying to decrypt the code base used, but that will show the exterior.

But yes, I was genetically engineered to facilitate the first Nadesico's AI's needs for the crew and am captain of the second one.

A second ship...? Did something happen to the first that necessitated that, or was it a simple continuation of the line?

Technology advanced. There were suitable developments in point to point transport and weapons technology that an overhaul of the first Nadesico was not possible so a second one was commissioned. Omoikane and I were moved to the second ship and the rest I believe is in a museum.

Before this, I served as the AI of a ship myself. It wasn't anything as interesting as a research ship, though. And the last time it was upgraded was... I don't even want to think about it. It's kind of embarrassing to dwell on, actually. I'm surprised I've adjusted to this network so well, making the jump...

I can understand, Omoikane had a lot of problems adjusting to the trailer in cold storage while I explained that he would be the ship of the new Nadesico over the one the military was developing. A network of this size is fairly large and while I would imagine you don't have the same range of activity as before you probably have access to new abilities as the city system.

That's right! And, well... Hinoto-Ri has a sky, and weather! I think that's my favorite part, technical novelties notwithstanding.

And perhaps as we claim more land we can increase your range. Though I admit, I'd really like it if there was a river that went through the city. Perhaps we can reclaim one of those.

Well, new places appear here all the time... I'm sure a river wouldn't be out of the question. There's no way of predicting if it'll really happen, but I can keep an eye out for sure.

Until then, if you're simply in need of a water feature, might I recommend the Fountain Court?

The facility I grew up in was next to a river, a large one where you could hear the fish return to their spawning grounds in the spring. Its that sound that I'm looking for, but I'll look at the Fountain Court when it thaws a bit.

Oh. I think I understand. I've never heard anything like that, but...

Mementos like that are always a treasure to find, so I'll be hoping it works out.

If you give me a copy of your code language I may be able to tap the hull of the Nadesico into your system so you could feel the weather a bit more personally too. There's plenty of unused data storage and the project would fill some time.

I think I'll have to pass, for security reasons. As administrator over the Guest network, I can't risk being compromised, no matter what.
