Video; pretend it wasn't posted in the dead of night
[This file registers as a regular video, but upon activation it displays significantly differently than a normal video - instead of showing a person in a specific place, it projects a translucent, 2D image of a girl on the COMP glasses' display. In the corner of the HUD, you might notice a new little button has appeared:

Even if you were to stop watching this video right now, the button would persist. It's a new, permanent feature of the COMP: it appears on the screen of the watch, as well.]
Let's see... good, I have all the settings done correctly this time. My word, this system works differently than anything else I've ever seen.
[Instead of an actual voice, her words appear inside of a text box beside her.]
Greetings, Guests of Hinoto-Ri! My name is *Hyun-ae - don't pronounce the star, it's simply to show my status as an AI. I was recently installed as a new, 25/7 administrator of the network: simply put, I'm here to monitor things and make sure it all keeps running smoothly.
You might notice a new addition to the COMP - [At this point, she gestures to the new button.] I've created that as a means to facilitate communication. If you have any questions for me, or really need any help at all... well, here's an example. Let's say you're lost and need a specific map? I can find it for you in an instant! Just ask! Additionally, if I need to speak to you, I'll do it through that button. It'll flash blue when I'm trying to get your attention, so please don't ignore it for too long.
...Well. I believe that's everything I can think of to say.

[From the look on her face, it seems like there might be a story there... How strange.]

[though couldn't they just give her a computerized voice? Like a Vocaloid*?
*here 'Vocaloid' should be replaced with its knockoff SMT equivalent]

...Well, unless we happen to get a blind Guest. In that case, I would have to grin and bear using it for them. But I would hope that doesn't happen.

but wow, she's happy whoever it was is gone!]
...Oh well. You are all Guests, after all - that implies you're only here temporarily at best.

[she's smiling, but.
the topic changes so abruptly it's like she doesn't want to discuss that at all.] So were you developed just to help us on the network?

You know how sometimes places from other worlds show up? That's how I got here, when the computers I'm hosted on appeared one day. I don't know when, since they went unplugged until a few months ago...

...It's for the best, I suppose. If I had a Persona, it would likely just function as another firewall, and I have plenty of those. It'd be a waste.
[She's not willing to consider the idea that if she'd come to Hinoto-Ri the regular way, she wouldn't have stayed as a program.]

But anyway, what kind of a place are you from? [She's still curious.]

[Blatant lies. *Hyun-ae's an info-holic.]
...Before now, I was the AI aboard a ship - a spaceship, to be exact.

[*Hyun-ae's text box seems to be updating with a longer delay than before, as if she's having to deliberate what she's saying more.]
In the time that I was the administrator, we never landed anywhere, and we traveled quite slowly. I never saw much change... I mean, the stars can be beautiful, and the ship was very complex. But eventually, with too much time in one place, it all turns very, very bland.
