Hatred and Love is viewed in equal measure. Humans normally say love is worth more. In recent months, I have seen media that espouses that love will always succeed over hatred. Hatred is inferior. It sustains only the self, but it is like poison also. Pure intentions become twisted, revenge distorts the mind and morals, and eventually hatred destroys the individual...

I must admit, this confuses me. I have observed no such things in humanity before. Ah, the corruption, yes, but hatred has sustained and protected humans as much as it has poisoned them. It is usually love that brings about self-destruction, as they hold another's life higher than their own.

So, I have always viewed hatred and love being of equal measure. They are different, yet powerful in their own right. It is like that saying, what, pears and lemons? Apples and peaches? Whatever.

So my question is thus: what do you think is more powerful or more important? Hatred or Love?

oh i can understand again. thank you. i am still learning how to write and read. :) but yes. you are correct. excess of any emotion can cause self-destruction. love and hate are the main causes. they are the driving force of most if not all of humanitys reasons and dreams. i love this so i will do this. die. i hate this so i will do that. die. the fact that humans live to die for something as intangible and miraculous as dreams is. what is the word. amazing. i have never seen another creature like them before. as for reasons... that is what is good for them. reasons. i love hearing their reasons. no matter how foul or how pure they are. reasons are the cause of everything. isnt it wonderful.

motivations require emotional aspect. how can they be motivations otherwise. it is fascinating to watch isnt it. i enjoy it greatly. i love it. i love watching them forge their own paths. even if it brings their destruction.

Instinct, preservation of life, lots of stuff! Motivations don't have to be strong to exist.
