Things are exciting here. More and more exciting. There is even a tournament! I have never participated in one before - it is a friendly contest thing, yes? I cannot wait to see how everyone performs. The aim is to win, so everyone will be fighting to the best of their ability, to beyond their very limits, otherwise the win is tainted, yes?

There is a question to be asked.

Hatred and Love is viewed in equal measure. Humans normally say love is worth more. In recent months, I have seen media that espouses that love will always succeed over hatred. Hatred is inferior. It sustains only the self, but it is like poison also. Pure intentions become twisted, revenge distorts the mind and morals, and eventually hatred destroys the individual...

I must admit, this confuses me. I have observed no such things in humanity before. Ah, the corruption, yes, but hatred has sustained and protected humans as much as it has poisoned them. It is usually love that brings about self-destruction, as they hold another's life higher than their own.

So, I have always viewed hatred and love being of equal measure. They are different, yet powerful in their own right. It is like that saying, what, pears and lemons? Apples and peaches? Whatever.

So my question is thus: what do you think is more powerful or more important? Hatred or Love?

Because I have experienced it. Hatred burns inside me, but so does love. Both give my life direction and meaning. Hate without love would consume me whole. Love without hate would see me drown in despair.

Balance is necessary for reality to exist, but humans exist with and without balance. A paradox. One is worth more than the other, and rarely do they give thought of acknowledging the less wanted sides.

Hatred is not acknowledged. No one wishes to admit that they feel hatred, and all the bitter feelings that come with it. They fear they will be looked down on here, won't they?

Of course they will be looked down upon. Hate leads to destruction and violence. This is not something humans like to be reminded of, even if they all feel hate. I'm probably not gonna make friends by saying this. Instead of understanding their hatred and its roots, they prefer to bury it as deep as they can and never look at it. It only leads to it exploding in disgusting ways.

Becoming blind to it causes it to fester as the poison they call it. I do not know if addressing hate would make it any less destructive, as hatred is born from love, and love born from hatred. To say one is more damaging and powerful than the other cannot be true.

Humans enjoy being separated from reality, it seems.

Or that they become blinded by the bigger picture, and it causes their actions their current situation to skirt the morality line - or rather, what constitutes as morality in that region, or world, or universe.

I like that though. Their ignorance and blindness and wilful denial is why they achieve the things they can. Refusal to give up, haha, that can be seen as stupidity, yes?

No one wants to be told they lack intelligence. But it's all right. I understand that my refusal to give up my goal can be seen as stupid.

I see stupidity as something to be favoured. The intelligent normally give up when they calculate the odds to be greatly against them. A truly stupid person will continue to throw themselves against the unmovable brick wall to live. That is admirable.
