Can one research such a thing? I always thought that attractiveness was a subjective thing, as people have different tastes or viewpoints on what is pleasing to them in both appearance and personality.
I don't know if you can research someone's attractiveness, but you can easily research what other people think of them and then state something from a general consensus. Like if people think the same thing about that one person, it says at least SOMETHING about them.
...what doesn't is why people would waste time and energy on something so frivolous. Does it matter if someone is popularly regarded as 'attractive'? Society encourages monogamous relationships, so it isn't as if that person could accept that many people anyway.
Idk, people like to talk about this kind of stuff normally. If it's a celebrity, they're people everyone knows and are always in the public spotlight, so it's hard not to at least make some kind of observation and share it with someone else.
It is still frivolous. I don't see how physical appearance is all that important in the grand scheme of things...
[Well Yamato's hair does look like it's never met a professional hairdresser - or a brush for that matter - in several years. It's obvious the guy doesn't think highly of prettying one's appearance]
[Say what you wanted about Daichi, but at least he knew how to dress himself and brush his hair.]
Well, first impressions count, right? Like how people will dress nice for a job interview. It's not the most important thing, but that doesn't mean people don't consider it.
When I initially met you and Kaito, I assumed you would abuse the DSA because you did not appear that impressive. It was only after you proved your worth against Dubhe that I revised my assessment of you.
So yes, I think I understand the importance of first impressions.

I see. I would think skill would make up for lack of presentation though.

Maybe, but if you don't impress people initially, you'll never get the chance to show your skill. They'll just think you're a weirdo.

Hey, my hair's not that bad!
Though I don't think Kaito's brushed his hair in the morning since primary school...

There you are. In comparison to Kaito I am fine. I at least brush my hair every so often.
no subject
Yeah but HAVE you ever gotten an actual haircut?
no subject
No.
[There was that one time in childhood with Alcor BUT NEVER AGAIN]

See, at least we actually cut our hair.

[Legit concern, actually.]
