[The feed, ironically, opens with a pixie. However, given she's wearing a labcoat, it's probably Ceu.]

Good afternoon. I do not want to interrupt everyone's...recently acquired subjects of fervor, [The tournament.] but Sir and I have a request to those who have experience with demons, or taming in general. If you could respond here with your specific skills, this would be appreciated.

[The entire time she spoke, Ceu stayed stiff and formal.]

Also, to those who did not receive responses to their request for employment, we apologize for the delay. However, there was a pressing matter we were required to aid with, which still has Sir's attention even now.

I recruit demons by talking philosophy and bribing them, does that count?

Bribery and conversation have their place, like anything else.

[Ceu suddenly...bowed at the screen.]

You're Hito-Shura, correct? The great Demi Fiend. It is good to meet you.

Yep, it's me! *She bows right back at the fairy, flattered.* The pleasure's all mine.

[Somewhere in the background, another fey-like voice shrilly called something out about getting an autograph. Ceu pointedly ignored it.]

You, previously, had requested employment, if I am not mistaken. Does this request still stand, or have you found a job elsewhere?

*She smiles.* It still stands. I still haven't found permanent work, and my seasonal job ended after New Year.

Then we'd love to have you. There are many tasks Sir requires help with that require a truly strong being to handle. As well, it would greatly help the morale within the labs- even if you are a Guest, your world's legend is well-known here.

[Because demons don't give a crap about timelines, they exist outside of that nonsense.]

*Shura chuckles a bit.* That explains the demands for autographs... I'd be happy to help! Just say when. I'm free most of the time.

Many of the fey-class demons especially may be...a little over-enthused about your presence. We'll have to ensure that the Full Moon isn't during the testing week...

I don't have access to the Demon Auction anymore, but I have a "Demon Summoning App" on my phone which allows me to summon and command a limited number of demons, and use their Skills as if I was one myself.

...a very strange system indeed. Your COMP type is one of those we've been searching for.

Would you be willing to submit it for controlled testing? You may be present during the duration of the exam.

What kind of skills do you mean?

The tamers from my world purchase demons through the Demon Auction - it's some sort of inter-dimensional market that provides demons to what I'm assuming are buyers from different worlds. We also use the Cathedral of Shadows to fuse demons. I've only got a few left on-hand right now, though.

Oh, there's also skill cracking - we've got access to any skills or magic we see a demon use, but I think I've cracked everything there is to crack at this point.

Would you be willing to likewise submit your COMP type for controlled testing? You would be allowed to be present during the exam.

Your approval will be a boon to Sir's research on the subject.

[While Ceu has remained overly formal during all these responses, she suddenly frowns.] Though I take personal interest, as well, due to my own nature. I have never been..."tamed", I suppose the wording would be, and wish to verify the safest means for other demons to be claimed.

...Sure. It'd be Hazama doing the testing, right? I don't mind as long as he's careful.

[Atsuro laughs slightly at Ceu's comments.]

I don't know if my demons are exactly 'tamed', either. There were a few different ways of getting their cooperation where I came from -- The first demons we had attacked us out of the blue and forced us to defeat them in hand-to-hand combat.

Yes, Sir will be doing the testing. However, there will be a few others present to also have their COMPs tested- Mr. Watari and Miss Nitta as of right now.

[Ceu frowned at the further expansion, crossing her arms with a huff.]

Some demons can be so crass. Not that I'm particularly an advocate of auctions, but pressing a human in to service is no better than the reverse. Bullying is still bullying.

[He hasn't heard of a Ms. Nitta yet, but no doubt they'd run into each other soon enough. Probably she was from Kaito's world.]

Er, I don't think pressing us into service was exactly what they had in mind. ...For my part, it's nice to know that not all of you are out for our blood - I mean, even the Pixies back home were pretty homicidal.

[Ceu just sighed and shook her head.]

I admit, I don't understand why so many of my sisters are simple- or single-minded when it comes to humanity. We require you alive to live, at the very least, so extermination would in turn cause our own demise.

...and that is ignoring that it is by your kind that we can exist at all. But, I suppose I should leave the research theories for later.

Desco looks thoughtful.

"In Hades, Desco got new minions whenever the Senate had an evilection! And when Desco was working at Evil Academy all the new transfer students were her minions!"

A wistful little sigh.

"Desco misses those days."

[Despite speaking rather monotonously, Ceu doesn't so much as bat an eyelash at that name.]

Do you consider yourself a nonhuman, then?

She sputters for a bit before realizing something.

"Oh, Desco forgot to turn on the camera."

The feed snaps on and...yeah, she's definitely not a human.

"Hello! Desco is the highest class of demon - a Final Boss!"

A final boss? Surely even a final boss has a secret boss that is stronger.

[Don't mind Ceu, she just knows how this works.]

However, we could use the assistance of a final boss, if you'd be willing to aid us in testing.

Desco blinks. This takes a while.

"A bonus boss is just a Final Boss doing part-time work, though!"

That might not actually be true, but Desco will fight fang and claw to pretend it is. She does brighten up when you mention testing, though.

"Desco is really good at testing! Back when she was in the labs, she got to break so many bio-suits!"

...I am afraid there won't be any suits to break. Though, there will be another strong boss- one who has been a hidden boss in multiple games, now.

We'll message you before the research is prepared, okay? It should be sometime during the week.

I can use demons, through a phone app. Is that alright?

Is it the same phone app that a few others here have? If so, this would help us extrapolate data at a much faster pace.

Between Sir's prowess as the Demon Emperor, and your friend Mr. Hotsuin's skill as the Couch Empress, I do believe we will be secure.

i have had... dealings with what could possibly be called demons in my world, though i do not know if the experience would be useful to you.

We are also categorizing Guests' histories with demonic or demon-like entities, so your aid would still be appreciated.

I assume, then, that none of the demons you may have experienced here are akin to how things are in your world?

It is not, no. We refer to them as Daedra in my world, and they are usually summoned, or speak to mortals from their own realm. Or drag unwitting mortals to said realms.

I have experience with some demons... depends which ones. I don't know too much about them, though... so I have no idea if I'd be helpful at all.

Part of our research involves better understanding the demons of other worlds- so any information provided is better than none.

[Ceu gives a stiff nod.]

I have extensive experience with demons. I coded the demon summoning app in my world. Should there be questions about it, I can provide answers. Unfortunately I don't have all the documentation with me, but I can likely reproduce anything in question.

[Ceu tilted her head in some sort of awareness, but didn't furtherly dwell on it.]

If you could help us, it would be most appreciated Mr. Naoya. We are trying to beef up our own programming in preparation for an experiment later this month. Sir was hoping to enlist your aid, but was worried about directly...asking, due to Mr. Yamato also working with us. Something about 'oil and water'?

Hehe. He should have just asked. If Yamato has a problem he can just deal with it. I'd be willing to help.

Demon-taming?

*Have a person that looks like they would almost certainly qualify as a demon themselves, looking a bit surprised and definitely curious now.*
