[The feed comes on to show Nano, standing in her apartment wearing a Santa hat and an apron and surrounded by baked goods.  She's made several traditional Japanese Christmas cakes with cream icing and strawberries, and also quite a few cookies and cupcakes of varying shapes, sizes, and flavors.  It looks like she's been busy baking for days.]

Merry Christmas, everyone!  I was doing some baking and made a little too much... so if anyone would like some cake or cookies, please feel free to stop by.  I live in the Pisces building, in room 02 on the tenth floor.

[Action; around the apartments; late afternoon to early evening]

[Later in the day, Nano's going around town making some special deliveries in person.  For anyone who has positive CR with Nano (which honestly constitutes talking to her for more than five minutes), she's stopping by each character's apartment, ringing the bell and waiting politely for someone to answer.  She's got a small package with her, lovingly wrapped up in tissue paper.]

Hello?

[Action; a KFC in the shopping district; evening]

[On her way home after handing out various packages, Nano passes a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise.  There is a statue of Colonel Sanders situated outside that is scandalously missing its traditional Christmas decoration.  Reaching up to remove the Santa hat from her head, Nano gingerly places it on top of the statue, giggling a little as she adjusts it.]

Merry Christmas, Colonel-san.

[ Yukko stops and turns her head to the clock. She mumbles. ]

Well. It's only the afternoon...

It's Christmas Day! Don't you want to go out and enjoy the holiday?

[Someone is a morning person.]

[ She doesn't have her mom to throw her out of bed... ]

What?! [ Yukko holds her head in her hands. ] I-It's Christmas??

[ She looks back at the clock, then remembering that she doesn't have a calendar ]

How long did I sleep for?

Are you not feeling well?

[Because that's the natural assumption to make when someone loses track of that much time. Even for Yukko, missing Christmas seems like a bit of a stretch to Nano.]

Of course not Nano! I feel fi-

[ Yukko sniffles reflexively. This gives her reason to pause. ]

... Tch, I had a small cold, actually. But no worries Nano-Chan, I feel better!

Well, if you're sure...

[She's still worried about you, Yukko.]

I can make some tea if you'd like.

E..Eheh, I would like that! If it's no too much trouble!

[ Yukko puts her hands dismissively, as if to say, "Yes, definitely, I'd love some!" ]

But Nano-Chan, why are you doing here? I hope I didn't make you worry!

[Nano steps inside Yukko's apartment with a polite bow of the head, pausing at the door for a moment to remove her shoes and set them aside.]

I'm actually here to give you your present.

[ Yukko steps out of Nano's way, rubbing the rest of the sleep out of her eyes. ]

Oh, a present? That's really nice of you -

[ And now Yukko turns away from Nano to hide her look of absolute fear. Oh crap, this is bad, really bad. ]

[Listen to the concern in her voice, Yukko!]

Are you sure you're feeling all right?

[ Yukko's head creaks back. ]

W-W-What? N-No, I'm fine N-Nano!!

[ Says Yukko, with all the color drained from her face, trembling violently. ]

[By this point, Nano has already unwrapped Yukko's gift and is holding it out for her looking confused. It's a cupcake frosted to look like her face on top, and it is very cute.]

Um... here you are...

[ Yukko cups her cheeks in her hands. Her eyes light up ]

Nano, that's - That's so cute! So keute!

Merry Christmas, Aioi-san. I'm glad you're my friend.

[Nano doesn't seem to really notice or care that Yukko isn't holding anything for her. That friendship is all she really wants.]

I, um... I do have something I'd like to ask you, though...

[She glances away for a moment, blushing and shuffling back and forth.]

[ But... Nano was her friend! Yukko felt terrible about forgetting, even though she was in the middle of marveling at the cupcake because goodness that thing is cute.

Mio would have bonked her over the head if she forgot to give her a present in return! (Yukko should know... "How can you be so inconsiderate!!"). Besides, Nano gave her a cupcake with her face on it! ]

Yeah? [ Yukko swallows, looking guilty. ] You can ask me anything Nano. We're friends, aren't we?

[ And Yukko gives her a nervous - yet sincere smile. ]

Well, I was thinking... it's lonely around here all by myself without the Professor or Sakamoto-san, and you must be lonely too without Naganohara-san and Minakami-san. And there's enough room for a second bed in the bedroom if we put up bunk beds, so...

[Come on, Nano, out with it already. You'd think she was asking Yukko out on a date or something.]

...I was wondering if you'd like to move in with me and be roommates! And... if I can call you Yukko-san.

[ Yukko blinks. She's surprised. She definitely did not expect Nano to ask her to... }

W-What...?

[ She blushes. This kinda does feel like Nano just asked her out on a date! She gulps. ]

Y-You can do that? I mean, do you really want to do that?

[Oh, oh, don't blush! That's just going to make her blush! Even more than she already is!]

Ah... um... if you don't want to... I didn't mean...!

[What is even with this sudden atmosphere.]

[ Yukko can't help herself! She starts shaking violently, holding her hands up. ]

N - No no Nano-chan, I-I really want to if you want to too! If we both want to!

O-Only if you don't mind!

I don't want to push you!

[ How did this even happen? ]

[Nano shakes her head, grabbing Yukko's hands and nodding.]

I-I want to...! I really do!

[SHE'S ALL SWEPT UP IN THE MOMENT, OKAY.]

[ Yukko can only lift her head back and gasp, wide-eyed. She really wants too?!

But what if it's too soon?! What if they should wait?

Yukko is too swept up in the moment though! ]

[Are those tears of joy welling up at the sides of her eyes? They sure are. Nano smiles broadly, squeezing her friend's hands and nodding enthusiastically.]
