❤ 1st Phase: Text/Audio ❤

[On the network, Mia starts a post with a simple text entry. She types several things to practice typing - simple words, like area, "The World" (a couple times, as she figures out how to capitalize), and sometimes just randomly presses keys. When she's done, it looks a bit strange;]

area the world. The world. The World. Rnfjhbdspw1246. ! :) ?

[Soon after that is the Audio section of the post.]

So this is what it looks like on this side. Very interesting. I've never had to use keys like that before. I wonder what the controls for a character are actually like.

I've been exploring the city. I see there are a few ways to travel besides walking, and there's no warping. Can someone explain to me what they are? They're rather interesting looking things.

[U-ugh, she doesn't like being laughed at...]

"The World"? [Well, not every planet name can be creative...] Have you ever ridden a train? It's similar to that.

It is interesting to look at. It's very different from Pastalia, the city I grew up in.

Well, then you'll be quite comfortable with the teleportation devices that connect the two apartments. Although, I've heard that they occasionally drop you into a swimming pool; you might want to avoid them until that error is resolved.
pastalishe: (why yes. I do rule the world!)

You're welcome. I'm delighted to be of assistance. [She really is! It makes her feel useful. Without her usual mountain of work to do, life in Hinoto-Ri can be a bit dull.]

Well, is there anything in particular you would like to know?

Well... the city itself is divided into twelve Wards, all named after the different signs of a fortune-telling system called the Zodiac. You can find a map of the city and information about the Wards at City Hall, which is located in the Leo Ward.
