[Lizzie pulls away from the camera so that her face is visible, but she's holding it at an odd tilt, betraying her lack of knowledge with technology. For one brief moment uncertainty flashes in her eyes, but then she is smiling politely and speaking confidently.]

Good day, everyone. I hope this finds you well, and that you've been able to settle down properly. My name is Elizabeth Middleford, and, like you, I've been brought here very suddenly from my own time and world. There are some things I've noticed that I'd like to ask about, now that I have the chance.

Firstly, is there anyone here that was taken as far back as the late 19th century around Queen Victoria's reign? I was taken from the year 1890 and I would very much like to make the acquaintance of anyone who was from that time, or any English gentlemen or ladies in general.

Secondly, seeing as we have several young ladies like myself in this city, I would like to extend my hand in friendship to you all and suggest something of a boarding house for us to live or spend time together in. In my time, boarding schools were meant to give its residents a sense of community with each other, as well as offer emotional support. I believe many of us could benefit from that in this city. If anyone is interested, I'll see to finding us an appropriate building and other such business things so we can all be settled comfortably as soon as possible.

[She pauses, and then a fierce blush rises over her cheeks despite her efforts to remain composed.]

Lastly...as I am from an older time than most, I find that my outfits and dress are...well, equally as outdated in comparison to the other ladies here. A-And I am very, very sorry and ashamed to bring up such a private and embarrassing matter over such a public forum, but I will need help getting dressed in the morning. I, um...I need someone to lace up my corset, you see, it's very difficult to do on one's own, my maid Paula usually did it for me back at home...but as Paula isn't here, I would be grateful to any young lady who could spare a few minutes every morning to help lace me up.

[Cheeks still burning from humiliation, Lizzie gives the camera a small nod before fumbling and turning it off.]

Oh yes, I remember you, you were protecting the laboratory like I was. [Lizzie gives her a small smile in greeting.] It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Jun. Do you know how to lace up a corset, though?

Oh yeah; now that you mention it I'm shocked I could forget a face like yours, Lizzie-chan.

I'm pretty sure I can lace one up, I'm a pretty good seamstress.

It's quite alright, we were rather distracted by the enemy, after all.

[Lizzie clasps her hands together, looking excited.]

Really? A seamstress? Could you make dresses?

I can make whatever you want, whenever I have the time.

[It might be a bit more... racy than Lizzie might be used to but she'll change it if she's asked. Yep.]

I have to keep in practice, right?

Oh, I couldn't ask for so much from someone I've just met. But if you could teach me sometime, I would be your devoted student.

[She brightens.]

In fact, if you are a seamstress like you say, Miss Jun, perhaps you could be one of the governesses at the boarding school?

Governess Kuga, huh? I might just like the sound of that!

[In her mind she is already disciplining students. This is clearly what will happen, she has no doubt in her mind.]

But, hey, I really don't mind stepping up to help you if you have trouble finding any dresses or anything to match your style back home. It wouldn't even take me very long, so it's fine.

Please say you'll teach the other girls, Miss Jun, it would mean so much to me if I can get this boarding school started.

[She laughs and claps delightedly.]

Oh, that's wonderful. You're absolutely wonderful, Miss Jun. I'll be sure to come to you, then.

...Alright, fine, I don't mind giving a pretty girl a hand.

[Somewhere far away in Jun's canon the rest of the cast are horror struck for ~reasons unknown~]

You're flattering me too much, Lizzie-chan. You'll make me blush at this rate.

Say, how many outfits do you have with you? You're not gonna run out anytime soon are you?

No, but seeing as it's possible that I might need fight in the future, I'd like to have a dress or even several dresses made that are more durable than the ones I have now.

[She pauses and tilts her head.]

Miss Jun, what does 'chan' mean?

It's like... an honorific. You add them onto the end of people's names to be more formal and stuff. It changes for each situation, but you can save chan for younger kids, pets, girlfriends, siblings, even boyfriends.

That's why I call you Lizzie-chan, because it's more polite I guess. It's just what I'm used to, I suppose.

[She makes a mental note about the durable dress thing, no sweat.]

I wish I wasn't low on clothes; I only have two outfits with me.

[She slumps her shoulders ever so slightly. Life is tough when all you have is a tracksuit and a school uniform.]

Oh, how interesting... [She thinks this over for a moment. It seemed that many of the people who had arrived to this city were Japanese-- indeed the city itself had strong Japanese influence as well. It would do her well to brush up on the culture and people if she were staying here for a while.] I think I'd like to learn more about that.

[She then hums sympathetically.]

I'm sorry. If we were closer in size I could have let you borrow some of my dresses.

That's nice of you; but I can just make my own outfits once I'm all settled. I just haven't picked up material or anything yet. I'll be fashion-able once I have; don't you worry.

[That means she'll be making herself revealing clothes. She leaves that part a surprise, though.]

Well I guess there should be a library around here somewhere, right? You could take a peek at books about Japan if you're interested. Or ask somebody about it; I know a few people here are from Tokyo or nearby, so it's not gonna be a shot in the dark trying to find someone.

Oh, I think I will. I'm afraid I have much more than just Japanese culture to learn, though. I hope the library will have some books on modern culture as well.
