Is it wrong to want to live a normal life here when you're a fighter back at home?

I'm not sure I know what a normal life is, but from observation I'm pretty sure you can have one AND be a soldier or fighter...

That's what I think, too, but someone I know made me feel bad about doing that. Like I was abandoning my mission just to be normal.

I don't really think that's fair. If you choose to work all the time, or if you have a responsibility that happens to take up all that time, that's one thing. Being made to feel guilty about it is...unfair.

I totally agree! But then, protecting humans is my job...

Well, it's my job too. That's why I'm protecting people here, but there's more to life than just that apparently.
