Anyhow, I was kind of wondering about the places the rest of you come from, and I have a question that might seem a little weird - do your worlds have Exalts?

It wasn't pretty back when I only had Stamina 2. I'd pass out saying it.

An Exalt is a human that has been, well, exalted. They've been given great power by a god or something similar.

We have people of most sentient species who can gain great power through their connection to the Force. That might be similar.

The Force? What's that?

An energy field that connects all living things. It is formed by and nurtures life, and it binds the galaxy together. Some people can harness it in various ways to sense, control, or change the world around them.

Oh! That sounds a lot like Essence, then.

It stands to reason other worlds would have other names for it. All the people talking about the "Collective Unconscious" around here seem to have the same idea too.

"Collective Unconsciousness?"

You know what? Don't even try to explain that one to me. That sounds a lot more like Misho's area of expertise.

So, how does an Exalt use Essence?

We channel it through powers called charms.

Moving faster, leaping higher, telekinetically throwing people around, that sort of thing?

Sounds like a different point of view on the Force to me, then. Or I have a different point of view on Essence, something like that.
