[At this point, Masamune's been mulling over recent events and wondering just what the everliving fuck did he get dragged into. It's only after a bit of contemplation on this that he got frustrated and left his apartment to do some more exploration of this place.

It's not until he ends up at the Arcade that he stops, shrugging. Why not. He could use some semi-mindless entertainment at this point. There's the usual fare, but one game in particular catches his eye, and it's at this point that the feed would start recording proper.

Once set up, Masamune takes his position opposite the screen, banging on something at certain times (probably harder than what is necessary but shhhh this is a good way to get out some pent-up frustration), and then -

literally flipping a table.]

YA-HA!

[He grins wickedly as he watches the game tally up his score and lets out a satisfied huff of air. Aw yis, new distance record.]

If only Sanada were here to see this. Bet he'd be all fired up to try and beat that.

[ Sanada, huh? Minato knows two Sanadas who he can see getting pretty fired up about something, but only one of them is male. But of course, they're not the only Sanadas to have ever existed in Japan by a long shot, so he's sure there's a great chance this guy is not talking about Akihiko.

Still... it doesn't hurt to ask, since he doesn't think Akihiko is too good about checking the network regularly... ]

It's a good way to vent - think we nearly broke the one back home after finals last semester.

Sanada Yukimura - doubt he'd be here, you could probably hear him yelling from halfway across the city. Guy doesn't really have much of an indoor voice.

It would have been nice to have one in the arcade near my high school.

But ah, I see. I don't think I've met him. I know a pair of Sanada siblings, but they're probably not related.

[ Talking about semesters... Well, Sanada Yukimura is a name he's seen come up in history books in school, but if this guy is talking about semesters, then it's very probably that Yukimura's parents were just history buffs or as big of fans of the Sengoku era as a certain history teacher at Minato's last high school... ]

[Not that he was complaining too much, more that he's surprised some of them didn't end up getting dragged along for the ride. Yukimura, Motochika and Keiji would at least have some fun around here.

Mm, if you don't mind my asking, but is it.. ah... common where you are from to be named after historical figures...?

[That does get him to stop and think about it, at least. Though during that moment he winces slightly, only to give a half-shake of the head and a nonchalant shrug.]

It's just what I was named, honestly. I got no idea if my folks decided it'd be cute to name me after the guy or not, but I can't complain about it.

[ And Minato really hopes it wasn't too awkward to ask, but in any event, it's asked, and it's time to move on. But ... to what topic? ]

... gonna try to beat your record on the game or are you done for the day?

[It's not something he usually thought about, to be honest. Yeah, it's been brought up once in a while, but outside those isolated incidents, there were of course more important thing to think about at the time.]

Might take one more shot at it, but that might do it for now, anyway.

Well, it's a good score to leave on the machine. Ah... I should let you get back to the arcade.

[ He smiles a little. ]

... if you like claw machines, the third one from the door on the left seems to have a sturdier claw than the others.
