[video] A formal greeting from the Sagittarius Branch!
Hello, everyone. It's good to see the network in use.
[Still wearing a labcoat and a white shirt was Ideo, bowing to the camera way more elegantly than he probably had to. It was set up so that none of the building behind him was discernible, but those who had been there would probably recognize the lighting as that from the Labs themselves. Which...meant Ideo was still there at 10:30 at night, okay.]
My name is Ideo Hazama- some of you met me during the incident in our Sagittarius labs. First, I would like to thank those who participated in helping us push back the Anoli. We could not have succeeded without your help.
[His smile wasn't long-lasting, of course.]
As for those I have not personally met, I am glad you are here, and it is good to meet you at large. Reiko and I work in the Research and Development labs, and focus specifically on technology in relation to demonkind. She is the expert in demon-related combat, however, so any specific queries about such should be directed to her. My main expertise is demon-related defense, as well as negotiation. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask me any time- I am always available.
If for whatever reason you cannot get a hold of either of us, please direct all questions to our associates- [Here, he motioned his hands, and a foursome of fairies entered the frame.] Hua Po, Chou-keshin, Mid Pixie and Ceu.
[The fairies poofed out of frame after a few waves and blown kisses, all except Ceu, who remained stone-faced and serious looking. Ideo didn't seem to notice.] Thank you for your time, and welcome to Hinoto-Ri.

Specifically it is about your, shall we say, ambitions of humans being able to contract with demons. I am interested in this. Things are different from my world, as contracted demons are gained through a proxy called the 'Demon Auction'. Have you heard of that?

How will this contracting between humans and demons in real life work, then? Demons are extremely fickle beings, and usually require a form of tribute or favour to cooperate with the human's demands - and even then, they do not form contracts and are free to leave once the demand is filled.

Any aid we could obtain from someone who has a connected history with demons would be appreciated. We may have to make our own 'auction' to allow humans to find and interact with receptive demons, if it comes to that.

[Yes, very useful - and who knows what information he could glean from someone like Ideo...ahah, even in death Yamato couldn't suppress his natural hunger for this type of thing]
I suppose the difficulty would be on the humans' end when it comes to fulfilling their end of the bargain. They are somewhat squeamish in allowing beings to feed off of them, even if proven to be safe and non-lethal to them in the long run.
I would ask if there was an alternative food source to offer the demons, but it is much more efficient to allow them to feed off of their tamers'. They would have added incentive to ensure their safety.
[The thing about demons is that they're easy to manipulate once you know how they work. Although it would be easier on the human to have an alternative food source, it would be better if they simply allowed the demon to feed off of them - demons are selfish, and they wouldn't allow their sole stable food source to expire under their guard]

We would love to have someone on the project that could aid in this, especially- we've had some difficulties due to political opposition, so another expert on the team would help bolster our credentials. If you could swing by the lab some time and give me more details on your experiences, I can check them over and set up an employment schedule with you.
[Congratulations, Yamato! You're ALMOST EMPLOYED already!]

That is acceptable. Will tomorrow work?
[Not like he had anything else to do after all...]
