Let's get one thing straight off the bat - this isn't a role here. I am a goddess, I will protect the earth, and I am very angry with humanity. A fictional bomb doesn't hurt any less when it's defictionalized, even if it's a stupid black circle with a squiggly line coming off of it.

I understand that. [She's learned recently in her own world that just because something is a 'legend' doesn't mean it isn't real in some form.]

I merely meant things such as an alien invasion made sense due to the nature of your world. Regardless of the form it takes, it's still your home and you are still here, correct? On the other side of that coin, for all I know my own world is a video game and I have no way to prove or disprove this. It makes me no less real than anything else here, much like you being here is all the proof I need you yourself are real.

Anyway. At least you're being sensible about it. Reality is subjective - I can tell you right now that we're not the only ones, but I'm hardly going to go around pointing it out.

Someone who said "why not? It'll be awesome!" most likely? That seems to be the logic most video games seem to follow.

I find it hard to have a crisis about the nature of reality when I've literally been dragged to an alternate universe and can now summon a creature to fight alongside me in battle. [And summoned a legendary hero to fight alongside her at home. And can walk on water. And is friends (sort of) with a magus....]

This whole situation is ridiculous, anyway. You don't have to be a goddess of nature to realize that a city enclosed in a bubble is not at all self-sustainable. Where are you getting your food? Where are you putting your waste? How do you expect to attain enough genetic diversity to avoid hitting a population bottleneck?

Not that I'm saying this universe isn't real, but I doubt any of us are going to think too hard about these problems.

To be fair: the city has only been sealed for a few years. I don't think we've quite reached the point where genetic diversity has become an issue. As to everything else.... I have no idea. A friend and I are researching the city in general, but I don't think that's come up just quite yet.

I can take care of the food, to some extent, but there are limits to how many miraculous banana trees I can make appear out of the blue. Also you'd all get sick of fruit and start whining after like, a week.

Okay, I'll explain because he obviously can't. On our world there was a magical relic called the Mirror of Truth. Pandora, a general of Medusa, was using the Mirror to create duplicates of monsters and strengthen the Underworld Army. Their plan was to trick Pit into looking into it to create a duplicate of him to serve them, and it worked... sort of.

Obviously I was born; I'm a reflection of Pit, but at the same time, I'm my own person. Why I was able to keep independent thought, and not end up a pawn of Medusa? ...I couldn't tell you. I guess 'cause Pit broke the Mirror before I was fully 'formed'. Either way, when I was born, I had no interest in serving Medusa, but I wasn't exactly keen on being friendly with that idiot either.
