[More information? One new arrival, at least, has all the information she needs. The influx of energy from this one is massive, completely unsubtle, almost as if purposefully designed to attract the attention of anyone with any sense whatsoever of the divine. It doesn’t fade away nor does it seem to be easily localized. This surely wasn’t ‘Magatama Energy’…
Whatever ambiguity this might present is cleared up almost immediately. Despite that no one may be in the vicinity, the voice of a young girl sounds clearly throughout the city of Hinoto-Ri to nearly every inhabitant, as intelligibly as if the speaker were standing right next to those she addressed. …Perhaps too intelligibly. The first sound they hear is an vehement, despairing cry.]
NO!
This can’t be…! The forests… The oceans… The deserts and mountains, the tundra and the plains! W-Where are they?! Who did this?! What did you do to them?!
[For a few moments, the speaker seems too overwhelmed with ire to speak. The sound of her breathing eventually slows...]
Humans. Look at this world. Look at it!
I knew this would happen. In every world across every dimension, it doesn’t matter! You -- you’re all the same! See for yourself! This is what will happen if you tear through all of nature without respect for anything but your own wealth and gain! Are you happy?! My children… 100 million species. One hundred million. There's almost nothing left...
I am Viridi, Goddess of Nature, ruler of the Earth and all living things! And I will not allow this land to be desecrated any further.
They say there are monsters ravaging what remains. If you stand against them, then... heed the command of a goddess and CRUSH them!

Seriously; if it's that important to you then where is all the green stuff you should've brought? You tryin' to lie to us about your priorities?
no subject
They decide what to bring with you.
Their options are things close to your soul.
A planetful of mountains and forests would crush this city.
Therefore, no planets spontaneously appeared and crushed everyone. Unfortunately, that left you in a condition to make idiotic comments, but I'm sure the rest of the city appreciated it.

Well if it's a toss up between plants and leafs and animal shit all over the ground or power, housing, and holiday resorts; then give me deforestation each and every time. I'm a young man from the 21st century, after all.
I'd be happy to listen to your reasons for tree hugging if you'd stop insulting me, though. Let me know when you feel like doing that, alright?
I've got a few points I could add to my arguments too, you know.

I guess I must just have this terrible habit of yelling at people without any provocation whatsoever.
You can keep telling yourself that if you'd like. It's not like I haven't had this conversation with every other egoist on the planet.

Anyway, how come you're quick to blame humans? If gods are so great then where were they when shit was going down? Maybe you're the only one who gives a shit about the state of the place, or maybe it was your job to fix it without complaining as it was torn apart.
Sort of like the maid of nature.

On my world, there are two threats: humans, and the forces of darkness. We stamp out the soul-devouring abominations when they crop up, but we don't do anything about the humans because they're ~special~. They have to learn and grow on their own~
Then they get into wars and burn down entire continents.
Well, I'm not just standing by to watch anymore! Hence the screaming.
no subject
On my world, though, there aren't any gods and humans are the only forces of darkness.

And I'm somehow not surprised. At all. When the next major plot twist turns out to be that Hades happens to be a manifestation of the evil in the hearts of humanity, the sound of 'I TOLD YOU SO' will never stop ringing across the galaxy.

Is anyone listening to this? They're not even trying anymore! Someone tell me why I'm not allowed to just drop these people straight through a pit into the Underworld.
no subject
Anyway, if you think about it logically then it's only natural that you should be proud of being capable of being an asshole to others. Unless you're, like, soft in the head or some shit.
no subject
No.
Ruler of the earth and all living things. Are you alive? Do you want to still be alive? You have my self-control to thank for that.
And please, enlighten me as to why I should be proud of you.
no subject
[He doesn't answer the question about wanting to be alive, since he got the feeling it was mostly a rhetorical question.]
Well if you think about it clearly then isn't being nice to people like walking while manipulating others, being an asshole and pushing to get your own way is like running? They both get you where you're going but one of them gets you there faster.
And having enough endurance to keep, uhm, "running" for so long isn't something to be sniffed at.

The fastest way for a species to breed itself into evolutionary oblivion is to value personal gain above all else. A lion has a pride, a raven has a flock, and a human needs to make nice with others if he doesn't want to be lynched.
There's also this thing called 'mating' that you might not be old enough to consider yet.
no subject
I'm 24 years old, by the way, and I know enough about having kids to know I don't want a family of my own.
no subject
...
...
You're twenty four? You're more than halfway to the grave and you still talk like you're a little boy?
no subject
...Ruler of all living things my ass.
no subject
Seriously, though, aren't you still supposed to be an adult?
no subject
Anyway I'm an adult, yeah, you got a problem with that?
no subject
That's it; the earth is doomed.
I call dibs on the next planet we terraform.
no subject
I'm curious now, though, what makes me seem like I'm not an adult to you?
no subject
no subject
The other stuff, though? You might have a point. Maybe.
Possibly.
If you weren't a tree hugging hippy god.
no subject
My Brain Age is 24, for the record. In case anyone was wondering.
no subject
So if you're the god of life then what other gods are there?
