My name is Narukami Yu. I was residing in Inaba, Japan before being brought here. I've been assigned to the Libra district, apartment 5-10.

[There's a pause...]

Yosuke, Kanji; where have you guys been assigned? Do you know if any of the rest of the team has arrived here?

[Yu's been putting this off for awhile, but considering that both Kanji and Yosuke have responded the same way to a certain grey-haired woman, he has to address this. Now.]

As for that question, she chuckles as her appearance changes... hair turning black and eyes fading from red to brown.]

I am a master of changing my own appearance, as are many deities... and even if they did realize who I am? It would be difficult for them to lay a finger on me.

[DO YOU NOT RECALL WHAT HAPPENED WITH KANJI YESTERDAY, CHOSEN?]

[Yu blinked in surprise as she suddenly changed. After a moment, however, he pursed his lips; he wanted to say this was a good idea, but at the same time...]

No... given a choice between explaining to my friends and lying to them, I would rather be honest with them. Even... if it will take a lot of explaining.

[There. Right there. What he just said? That is one of the major reasons she had chosen him to represent Hope; his honesty and desire to reveal the truth hidden behind the fog of deceit. She smiles, approving of his words before she changes back just as quickly.]

Spoken like a true representative of hope... Yu Narukami.

[She releases his hand after squeezing it... a small hint that he should follow her. Gee, it's almost as though she already knew her way around this place...]

[Surprise registered on Yu's face for a moment, before he smiled faintly, letting his hand drop. Though, he couldn't help but privately hope they weren't spotted, if only to avoid said long explanations.]

[...and he can picture you smiling too, Izanagi. Don't even try to deny it.]

[He let out a breath, rolling his eyes at his Persona, before following after the goddess. Really, he wouldn't be surprised if she did know everything. Just... hello? Goddess? They tended to be all knowing and stuff.]

> You sense a disturbance in the "force"...

[Oh, Yu. If only you knew that most of what happened back in Inaba was all because while she does know most things? She does not comprehend it - especially when it comes to human nature. It isn't like she would have personal experience on the matter though, right?

[Yu came to a stop beside her once they arrived, looking up at the place. A quaint little cafe... it looked like something that belonged at the shopping district in Inaba, and he could feel his heart warming a little at that. Maybe staying here wouldn't be so bad...]

[He held a hand out; well, if he was having some tea with someone like Izanami, may as well be a gentleman about it.]

[He stops, dead in his tracks, eyes wide as he stares at Izanami...

Yosuke takes several steps backwards, looking absolutely terrified.]

Yu, what the hell are you doing get back from her!! Get back before she attacks!!

[He's ready to call up his Persona at the slightest twitch from Izanami.]

[ARE YOU SERIOUS.]

Senpai....

[Son Yu, he's very disappointed in you.]

[Excuse me. Naoto's just going to scoot up in front of both Kanji and Yosuke. She eyes Izanami with thinly veiled suspicion before looking over at Yu. Despite the confusion and the strong desire to scream at her senpai having tea with a death goddess she keeps her voice calm and even.]

... Is everything alright?

[Well, that was far too predictable for her tastes. Izanami merely quirks an eyebrow before turning her head to look at the three other children from Inaba who are present in this world. Honestly, she was going to address Hanamura first but his accusation could wait for a brief moment.]

Narukami merely came to me in search of answers as to who I am. [Something Kanji hadn't done. Oops?] I was going to answer and then leave all of you be once he was finished asking.

[Her cool gaze turns to Yosuke.]

And I believe if I truly wished any of you children harm I would have already assaulted at least one of you by now. [It's brutal honesty, because let's face it- even in her weakened state she could likely fatally harm them if she truly wished to.] Do you not recall my last words to you, back in that other world?

[She has allowed humanity to decide its own fate. She poses no threat to them currently (what more do you want from her?). Though she is not above defending herself. Or leave, considering the mess that would definitely create since she does have an image to maintain. Going to need a new disguise, as well... a shame. She had grown fond of this persona (ha ha).]

[Yu wanted to let out an exasperated sigh; Murphy, you were a horrible person. How could you do this to him?]

[He turned toward his friends, trying to keep his expression neutral. Their concern was obvious, and Kanji's tone hurt, but they had to understand; this was something he needed to learn on his own, to experience for himself. He couldn't just have them tell him what happened, and just accept it; they had forgotten to mention a pretty damn important part!]

Guys, I know.

[He spoke quietly, calmly; he didn't want them to freak out, nor did he want them to think any less of him.]

She's showed me what will happen; what has already happened for you. I understand why you feel the way you do.

[So Izanami is making Yosuke especially nervous with that look in his direction and the threatening tone in her voice... He backs up a little, swallowing hard.]

Dude, so you know what happened and you're still going to trust her?? What's the matter with you?? She nearly killed all of us!!
