"Hey guys and gals. If you lost track of me after the the thing with the scorpions, don't worry, I'm just in the hospital. Nothing bad, I promise."

"Remember when I protected the Pisces apartments from the scorpions? Turns out so much exercise without drinking or eating anything is bad. On the other hand, I took my first trip in an ambulance."

Yeah, uh, that doesn't exactly sound like a great idea, human OR demon. I guess I'm just happy it wasn't worse.

Man, I feel like such a dork. I was pretty useless the whole time, wasn't I?

"It's not so bad. I just got pretty dehydrated. I should be able to leave tonight or tomorrow morning, as soon as the doctors are sure I won't pass out when I get up again."

Shura clears her throat. "Well. Uh. Rather, yes. But at least you didn't get hurt."

Just don't go sneaking out of the hospital against medical advice. I used to know a lot of people who'd be the sort to do that, for some reason.

*wince* Ah. Well. Not for want of trying, I guess. Still.

"I promise to only sneak out if they begin testing weird stuff on me." Which. Should not happen.

"You'll do better next time." Sorry Nick, but if they brought all these people in to fight things, there will probably be a next time.

*sigh* I hope you're right. Being a terrified wreck for entire incidents doesn't exactly look good on the job resume.

Shura chuckles, a bit nervously. "Ah, that's good! I did get to take a trip in the ambulance, though. First time ever." Shura, you are not helping.

[Nope. Let's just hope there isn't a second or third time either.]

Were you injured that badly?

"I just got very dehydrated after fighting the scorpions all day and half the night, plus I kept getting Poisoned. I'll be fine tomorrow."
