I could wash Renoir, or I could go up ten flights of stairs and sleep. Or risk elevators. I'm not really eager for those last two, so I think I'll opt for something menial and mindless, thanks.

It makes perfect sense. Pierre-Auguste Renoir was a leading impressionist painter- and there's also the bonus of it being partially black, and noir being in the name-

Look; I dunno about you but I don't exactly feel like letting someone I've got an issue with show up and, say, get his Persona all up in my business when I'm not paying attention.

I mean if someone as incompetent as you got here then a guy like Ace could show up before we know it.
