When the feed switches on, it shows Desco wearing a party hat, her tail wagging fiercely behind her.

"Hello, Desco's adorable subjects! Today, Desco turns five! Therefore, you are required to come give her tribute! There will be cake for all successful tributeers!"

She pauses slightly.

"Oh! Also, Desco now lives at the Shinonome residence, since the rest of her family has disappeared. So come there, got it?"

[Nano doesn't forget birthdays, so of course she's already all set with a big cake for Desco. It's frosted in purple and red like the colors of her chitin, and half of it also has jagged pieces of metal sticking out of it - the other half is clearly for Nano herself.]

[Nano gives her a big warm hug right back, patting her on the head.]

Desco wiggles in appreciation for a few moments before floating over to sit at the table.

[Nano smiles, heading over to the table herself.]

[And then she claps happily.]

Blow the candles out and make a wish!

"Yes! Desco will continue piling up milestones until she ALL THE TROPHIES."

Desco does so immediately, expending no visible effort to do so at all before loudly declaring her wish.

"Desco wishes for a Space Castle to launch her assault on Celestia from!"

Let's hope it comes true...

[Nano's learned to deal with statements like that, and her smile is only slightly nervous as she pats Desco on the head.]

"Yes! Desco will give you a squad of former angels to boss around!"

Pause.

"When angels do bad things, they get turned into flowers."

Nodding very seriously.

...Flowers? Is that like how sinners get turned into penguins?

Desco nods hard enough that her party hat slips down and catches on one of her horns.

"Uh-huh! Flower Demons all look like girls, but they're actually boys! They use this to their advantage in the Netherworld to build devoted followings of gross old men!"

As she pushes the party hat back up, Desco beams happily.

"Desco is just going to assume that it works the same way in Celestia!"

[Hmm. Perhaps he shall add a tiny trophy to the cake.]

Where is this Shinonome residence, incidentally?

"In Pisces district! Desco painted a dragon skull with purple glitter and put it next to the mailbox!"

[Oh, so she's five. Any other person might have their reservations about five-year-olds running around like this, but Nanami seems pretty well-adjusted to the quirks of Hinoto-Ri's array of Visitors.]

"Hello, Queen Desco, happy birthday!"

[Nanami takes the liberty of adding a short blast of trumpet fanfare into the recording.]

"What sort of tribute would you like the most?"

[She doubts it, but hey, she's just a robot. What does she know about this sort of thing.]

"Time for cake!"

And now Desco will wait patiently - like a good girl! - for the cake to be served.

"Force multipliers for her military invasion of Celestia!"

"....I'm sorry, but I'm not from your world, you see. Could you explain a bit, how would one go about getting force multipliers for a military invasion of Celestia?"

[Good girl, Desco. Nano smiles appreciatively as she cuts the cake, making sure to give the birthday girl a nice big slice with lots of jagged metal sticking out of it. Her own slice is markedly more normal.]

Here you go! It's your birthday, so you can have as much cake as you want today!

Takakage doesn't really know Desco all that well, but he does know that birthdays are very important to modern folk. Thus the message.

Desco's delighted smile spreads from pointy ear to pointy ear, exposing quite an expanse of pearly white fangs.

"Yaaay! Desco loves you, Sis!"

Okay, first things first: extracting the metal pieces from the cake, and then extruding a pair of tentacles from her back to devour them. Once that is done, it is time for Dainty Desco Eating Habits to take over as she delicately cuts small, bite-sized chunks of cake to eat.

Of course! Desco is going to conquer Celestia!

[tyrantball]

"...hmmm. Well, Desco is going to try and establish an Item World outpost here, so please bring her equipment to outfit her troops in!"

Slight pause.

"Oh! A three-pack of t-shirts! Get the largest size, because Desco looks really cute in those!"

[Nano is all smiles as she watches Desco eating her first bite, only starting in herself once she's devoured all of the metal out of it.]
