I've seen it frequently enough times to get the basic gist of it. Bunch of idiots go around trashing things, blah blah power, feeling like big shots, and then manage to annoy enough people that the other side sends in people who makes things worse. I could care less for the lot of them, frankly, but at least this side has the sense not to go destroying things just for their own amusement.

Back home we had the saying "don't bite the hand that feeds you", too, and that sounds like an abusive relationship to me.

I prefer to see in black and white, it makes things easier. When you start to see things in grey it becomes a pain in the neck to turn a blind eye to the things you and your loved ones do wrong.
