[It's been bothering him more and more lately, even though he's tried to push away his old memories. It doesn't seem to matter here, but... he still has to ask. He's just glad there's an anonymous text function on this thing.]

So I've been wondering. Does being a guy or girl change anything in your world? Like, do they get treated differently? Do some people not want one or the other? What do they do if they get a kid of the gender they don't want?

Don't get stupid and start flame wars or something here. I'm just asking.

differs per country actually. theres hellholes like china where it makes a whole world of difference. like if you get a girl your whole family shames you for it. means theres a 50% chance of being shamed so thats kinda a raw deal for everyone.

it aint as bad in texas. i hear theres some prejudice that girls cant bbq their steaks as well as dudes but i aint ever seen that in action. pretty sure bbq skills are defined by practice not chromosomes.

idk i think its bullshit. i think its gotta be the same in every country and people should stop being pissy about that sorta thing. who gives a fuck what your gender is? ive seen some hella manly girls and some hella feminine dudes. all cool people. they be dope.

Some people are stupid, though. They only think about what they want and when they don't get a kid of the gender they want they act really badly towards them. It's hard to know what to do with those kinds of people.

As long as humanity exists there will be terrible people. There will also be good people.

Yeah. And on the internet or in an MMO, no one knows what gender you are IRL. That helps a little, though not for the people offline.

Guess it depends on where you go. Cultures have different mentalities.

Might get treated different, I guess. Guys get told to not cry and girls are told to dress pretty and shit. But for the most part I don't think people are assholes about it.

That's one of the reasons I played a male character. I think. I can't really remember.

I have found that it is virtually impossible to thrive with complete isolation.

playing a male character is easier. which says something about sexism in videogames i guess. but whatever.

Don't waste your time dealing with them, that's what.

And they get better outfits, too. They make more sense.

I guess. But it's a lot simpler in a lot of ways.
