[Nano's been pretty quiet for the past week or so.  She's still been going to school every day and working at the inn, but she mostly keeps to herself, and has been going directly home afterward.  Those accustomed to seeing her out and about during the 13th Hour helping to fight demons will find her conspicuously absent.  So it's perhaps a relief to anyone who's been wondering or worrying about her that she's finally back on the network, doing her best not to look as sad as she feels.]

U-um... would anyone like to come over for dinner sometime?  Or... or maybe I could have another party or a sleepover at the inn?  Would anyone be interested in that?

[It's clear something else is up, but she's trying not to focus on that.]

[Nano finishes hanging the last of the sheets she's washing today, stepping down from her little wooden stool and walking around to the front of the house. Opening the door and stepping inside, she steps out of the wooden sandals she wears around the house and motions for Athena to come inside.]

Well, um... I guess I should show you some of what I can do, then, huh?

Well... turn the key on my back. That's probably the most embarrassing one.

[Nano laughs a little. It's hard not to have developed a little bit of a sense of humor about this by now.]

It's okay. You might want to duck right after, though.

[Taking her advice, she turned her key.]

[There's the brief sound of hissing steam from the floor. If Athena bothers to look, it seems to be venting from the sides of one of Nano's big toes. And now would be the time to duck, because shortly thereafter, it shoots off and goes bouncing around the room, ricocheting off the walls and ceiling before finally embedding itself into the far wall.]

[Holy crap! At least her reflexes are fast.]

W-What was that?

[Nano slowly walks over and plucks it out of the wall before walking over to Athena and holding it up for her to look at.]

If you look closely, it's actually also a USB drive. All of my toes are.

It doesn't help that my feet are ticklish, and sometimes they come loose if I wiggle my toes...

Well... there's a cuckoo clock and a sweet bun dispenser in my forehead, a rollcake dispenser in left arm, a digital watch built into my right arm, a gun attachment in my left hand that fires soybeans instead of bullets, and my right hand is rocket-propelled.

[Mostly pretty useless stuff.]

That's amazing. Ponco and Clonco can sense life and emotion, but they cant do much more than that.

Those seem like much more useful things to be able to do. Mine are more like dumb magic tricks.

[Nano sits down and snaps her toe back on, the others scrunching up for a moment as she does so.]
