I'm looking for volunteers to join me on an expedition to investigate the ruins in the Gemini district. It's likely to be dangerous, so I'd prefer people with some combat experience. But the trapezohedron was found in that ruin, so I think it'll be worth the trip. Let me know if you're interested.


[She's about to go back to adjusting one of her dingbots when she remembers one other thing.]


And on a side note, the people I gave those experimental weapons to still haven't reported back. Did they work well enough? Did you experience any difficulties?

I wish I had any idea what we'll run into. But so far it looks like we'll have a diverse enough range of talents to be able to handle anything.

That's good. It's the best we can do if we're not sure what to expect.

I'm looking for anything related to the trapezohedron. So far that's the only concrete way to connect to other worlds so I want to learn as much about it as I can.

It was found in those ruins, so there may be clues to who put it there. And why.

The trapezohedron.

It's an artifact that was discovered in those ruins a while ago. It can send people to other worlds, and bring them back here. But no one is really sure who made it or how it works.

Ah, maybe that's what Tsukasa was talking about, back then... I forgot about it, and I never asked how the random connection to other worlds came about.

Oh? Do you mean the incident in Geartopia?

[She had actually liked that place. Shame it was such a short visit.]

Shortly after I arrived in the city, the trapezohedron opened up a portal to another world. After a short time, it pulled everyone back.

How often has it happened since then? And... does anyone at least know why it happens?

Only twice that I know of. There were probably other incidents though.

[She gives a huffy sigh in response to his next question.]

No. Because no one has done a proper study of it yet.

[Actually, it's more that Agatha and Kandori do not have the same definition of 'proper study.' ]

It is, but there's not much I can do about it right now. That's why I'm looking into other options.
