Hello, this is Agatha Heterodyne.

I'm looking for volunteers to join me on an expedition to investigate the ruins in the Gemini district. It's likely to be dangerous, so I'd prefer people with some combat experience. But the trapezohedron was found in that ruin, so I think it'll be worth the trip. Let me know if you're interested.

[She's about to go back to adjusting one of her dingbots when she remembers one other thing.]

And on a side note, the people I gave those experimental weapons to still haven't reported back. Did they work well enough? Did you experience any difficulties?

Up until now, the experimental guns have given me no trouble. Their effectiveness seems to differ between demons, but I guess that has to do with their elements? [He sounds very unsure about that hypothesis.]

Great! I think it's likely that the elemental effectiveness is always going to vary, regardless of the strength of the weapon.

Either way, if they're working it means I can move to the next phase.

The next phase? What would that be, if I may ask?

Well, it's too inconvenient to carry around all those separate guns, right? So now I need to build one that can switch between elements.

[...] As for the expedition, does police training, experience with wielding guns and occasional demon fighting here in Hinoto-ri count as 'combat experience'?

As for the expedition, I actually got quite a few volunteers. And there's a limit to how many people I can safely bring down there.

Oh right, right! Probably for the best. I'm sure there's more experienced people to bring along and I'd hate to slow you guys down. But hey, maybe next time, right?

Right. Depending on how this one goes, it's entirely possible that a second expedition might be necessary.
