There is an huff of breath, and then the camera is flipped over, revealing a woman with silver dog ears and red markings over her skin. Not particularly. It's not as if one is made of antimatter or something like that.

Everything is made of matter. Antimatter is like matter, but everything in it is reversed. Should it come into contact with matter, both are annihilated in an explosion.

That's correct. There's a theory that every choice splits off into two universes - one where one choice was made, and one where the other was made.
