i've never seen mew or arceus
but i believe in them because people have seen them before
and even if nobody hadn't, there are too many things people can't explain

but actual worship isn't something that's common anymore, because most of the legendaries went in to hiding
people would try to catch them, so i can't really blame them

There's the new mountan gods, Kanako Yasaka and Suwako Moriya. Most of what I know about them is second- or third-hand, I suppose, as I've never gone up to the mountain myself, but they do occasionally make an appearance at parties.

Shinki is the god of Makai, and she's the one from whom I learned magic.

especially when some of them take care of the wind and seasons and stuff
