[Really, he shouldn't be using this detestable thing. Some of its functions are helpful, but the babbling and barking of the masses, not as much. Still, there is something on his mind, and he has seen enough to know that there are some people who come here from worlds very different than his own. Even Hinoto-Ri's laws had needed studying before he could even attempt to practice law. Perhaps there is some measure of knowledge amongst the filth here.]
What is "truth" to you? And how far would you go to pursue it?
[Of course, he knows full well whom this message could reach... but he'll try to ignore that person just the same.]

The more I think about it, the more I like your definition of justice. It's kind of what I do, after all.

And that is what the job of prosecutors is.
[And the Steel Samurai and related characters, but shh.]

On the other hand... if that makes me a prosecutor, that would make you a Justice Rider. They're like the superheroes of my world, except they're real.

No. Prosecutors prove the guilt of criminals and the judge determines the punishment they are to receive. Then others carry out the punishment.
Text
Darn. I thought I was onto something. It's not like aliens smashing up a city need their guilt proven, anyway.
[Obviously Blackquill can't see it, but MiRa is totally sulking on the other side.]
Text
No, I suppose not.

Guess we know what MiRa's next upgrade is!]The evidence is pretty much there, isn't it. When they're right there, assaulting people and blowing stuff up, it goes all over the news, and there's witnesses everywhere. I guess someone's just going to have to show them how guilty they are.

He was a barber, and it took quite a while for the police to catch him. He was careful to kill only those who he knew would not be missed for some time.
