[A visibly distressed Sasha Fyer appears on the screen, her red eyes even redder from crying. Her voice hurried and panicked, she says:]

Has anyone seen a little fox-like creature around here? He's yellow, he's got a white muzzle, red fur coming out of his ears, and a red tip on his tail. He responds to Fei. If anyone has seen him, please let me know! He's a creature called a Pact- no, a Pokemon! A Pokemon, that's right!

On a related note, does anyone know if a girl named Kotoha is still around? She helped me get Fei in the first place, so I'd like to talk with her, too...

I guess I went home for a little while... haven't you seen people disappear from here, sometimes? It happened to a few good friends of mine.

Well no, I haven't actually seen anyone vanish like that, but I know it's happened...

I miss Haseo...

Mm, yeah... I know that feeling. I miss Daichi and Nicholas. They were both really good friends of mine here. That's one of the perks and downsides to world traveling. There's so many friends to make, but there's so many friends to leave behind, too.

Well, I'll see him again eventually. He was from my world... er, one of them was; there was a girl Haseo too.

You met one of your friends with a different gender? That sounds interesting! Was she any different from the one you knew?

Yeah, kind of. She was a lot more... scarred. If I had to guess, she wasn't just playing a game like I was...

"Wasn't just playing a game?" I think you might have to explain that one.

Where I'm from, we have this virtual reality game called The World.

I think the girl Haseo was from a world that was more like the game.

Huh... a world where the game was the world? Interesting. It's funny how the dimensional fibers twist, sometimes, though I can't fine-tune my powers to view specific timelines.

What is it you do exactly that that might be something you're almost capable of?

I have a power that allows me to travel between worlds. Lots of people from my world have this power too, though it's not exactly everywhere. If it was, we'd probably have a desert planet because it's so boring.

So, you're used to this kind of thing, then. I didn't get it immediately when I first showed up here, but I was coming out of a bad time...

Yep! Though when I first came here, I'd never had another world drag me there before. I imagine it'd be hard to understand for people who don't have world travel.

A bad time? Can I ask what happened? You can switch to private, if you'd like, and I promise not to write it down.

Well, it went like this. Haseo - the guy I mentioned before - has another friend that played The World, and that person, Shino, had the same character model as I do. I didn't find out until just before I came here though.

When I did find out, I ran off in search of the player killer Haseo was after, and got knocked out.

I think I get it. Why did that person have the same character model as you, though? Are the customization features that limited?

Well, she was colored differently from what I hear. You see people with similar models all the time, since the customization tools are pretty hard to use...

Hard to use? How so? Did they at least have some basic sliders or things to click on?
