[A certain minty-haired Visitor is on the screen today, his arm around the shoulders of a brown haired kid who may be familiar to some. Judging by the voices in the background, there’s about four people in all, even if they aren’t all visible on the camera yet.]

Hey! Lately, people have been coming by the Detective Agency thinking it’s functional again. At first we turned down requests since we’re obviously not detectives, but...

Well, maybe you should say it instead, Ayumu?

[Ayumu is pretty much resigned at this point, though his expression clearly seems to have some doubts about the wisdom of this idea. They were a bunch of kids and a tanuki, after all. Who’d go looking to them for help?]

[There’s some yelling from off-screen.]

But it sounds like fun!

[Ayumu’s response is muttered.]

If anyone’s even interested...

[While they keep bickering amongst themselves, a certain assistant waltzes up to the feed and waves in that wonderfully cutesy fashion of hers. Yup, it’s Hiyono, alright.]

Ahem--what they’re trying to say is, we’re now open for business! I’ve even set up an inbox for you to send all of your requests to~

Right, right. And you were going to spread rumors too, weren’t you, Hiyono?

Mm-hmm! [The agreement is punctuated with her ever present smile -- and wait, is she proverbially sparkling as she does?] To be honest, I haven’t really worked with rumors that come true, but I guess there’s a first for everything, right?

[The look on the brown haired teen’s face is just a little wary. Ayumu could only imagine how much she was going to enjoy that….]

Well, you heard them. We’ll take on jobs if you have them in our spare time.

[There’s suddenly a tanuki squeezing his face into this shot. Except he’s in human form but whatever.]

[Atsuro slams his hands down against a table!]

Apparently he had heard that wrong somehow.

"Who is 'Sis'?!"

"Desco's Sis is Nano Shinonome!"

And Atsuro's joking tone suddenly changes to a more serious one as the Private switch is flipped.

"...Hey - look that's not something for you to share with everyone. Whatever I feel aside, it was a really big deal for Nano last year, and she doesn't need it being tossed around like a joke."

[tyrantball]

"Desco never jokes about family!"

[otakuro]

"...If she's family, how do you think Nano would feel if she knew you were screaming about that -- like, literally screaming -- to everyone on the network?"

Desco actually seems to be considering that.

"...this is one of those human things Desco doesn't get, isn't it?"

[otakuro]

"I'm pretty darn sure she would have told you not to talk about it when she first told you."

[tyrantball]

"All she told Desco was that there was someone she was interested in! Desco had to find the rest out herself."

[otakuro]

"W-Who told you that, then?! Don't people have better things to do in the city than eavesdrop?!"

Desco blinks. For her golden eyes, this involves a nictitating membrane.

"Desco had to access old public security cameras to find that! Alll the way back to Sis's first day!"

She looks...very proud of herself.

"The electronic eyes of the Ultimate Little Sister are second to none!"

[otakuro]

"..."

Atsuro stares with one eyelid twitching.

"...'K, it's not really me you violated, so you go tell Nano what you did and see what she says. That's not being any kind of sister I know of."

Atsuro will turn off his end of the feed.

"...Ah. So there was someone after all."

Who would have thought?

"Not... really."

Atsuro actually looks genuinely unhappy instead of simply embarrassed.

"...It's not really my secret. That's all I'm gonna say about it."

"Tricky subject, huh?"

He may like to tease, but this doesn't seem like the type of thing he should stick his nose into. Even the Devil can have standards.

[otakuro]

"It was. We talked it out last year, though, so. ...It should be OK now."

Yeah right.

[bondsofsuffering]

...Well, whatever Atsuro wants to believe.

"Then I guess I'll leave it at that!"

[otakuro]

"........"

Atsuro shrugs after a bit.

"So where did that 'male succubus' stuff or whatever come from anyway?"

[thatsasecret]

"Some girl with a lot of tentacles coming out of her back."

[otakuro]

"I-I know that, but uh. Why would she even think that in the first place?"

[bondsofsuffering]

"You think I know? This is Desco we're talking about. It's probably some random idea she got into her head and decided is absolute fact."

[otakuro]

"She's really less cute and more... insane. ...Anyway. So will the rumors and things actually work with you guys in charge?"

[bondsofsuffering]

"It's worked before, hasn't it? The only difference is the people working to spread it.

I don't know Hiyono very well personally, but according to Ayumu, she's probably the best person to turn to for something like this. Of course, if it's something interesting, I'll do what I can to help out too!"

As usual, he's sticking to doing whatever seems most amusing at the time.

"Maybe it's the people who were magic."

Atsuro gives a shrug.

"What kinds of things are we hoping to get out of this, though? All I remember last time were things about the dumb book series."
