I'd like to check with anyone else out there: I've noticed that the news from yesterday was identical with today's, and all media outlets continue to list today's date as the 22nd, despite the fact that it should be the 24th (if we are going by how much time has chronologically passed). Yesterday I was beginning to get suspicious and so I made an experiment of drawing a shitty face on my arm in permanent pen, and this morning I wake up and it's gone.

There was a movie about this that my best bro was really into for a while called Groundhog Day, about a guy who repeated the same day over and over. I'm starting to think whoever wrote that movie was a fuckin' prophet. I know I'm not imagining it, but I'd like to see if anyone else is experiencing the same phenomenon. Drop me a line, let's sort this shit out.

You've observed correctly. Insofar as I can tell, and insofar as I have been able to make my own study of the phenomenon, today and yesterday have begun in a manner corresponding exactly to two days ago. All calendars I've noticed have claimed it the twenty-second. A usual venue of mine has had the same items on its daily menu twice now - when I asked the proprietor about this situation, they appeared baffled. There are more details that I've noticed, too, but - this would appear to be enough for an initial hypothesis, wouldn't it?

Definitely. I haven't been here long but I know that there's a tradition of weird shit happening in this town so I did some research-- looks like every month or two there's records of some big-ass monster showing up after an extended period of people going crazy. This seems consistent with that pattern, so I'd posit that the source of this is some big-ass monster.

I'll have to do my own investigation in that regard, but from what I've seen in my own limited time here, I can easily believe that pattern. A monster interfering with the timestream, though? That's... novel.

I thought it was strange that I kept doing the same load of laundry.

No, I didn't. Are you sure that's what it said? I mean, hell yeah repeating the same day isn't supposed to be happening, but has anyone else reported hearing that voice?

I'm guessing it's related to the pattern of monster attacks that have happened over the course of the last year or so-- there have been at least two or three before that I've researched, and they always seem to bring some sort of chaotic bullshit along with them.

As for this phenomenon specifically, isn't time is your area of expertise?

Not this exact thing, but there's a lasting pattern of monster appearances coinciding with weird shit happening. This event lines up with the ones prior, so it's just the logical conclusion that this is an ongoing pattern.

A monster causing a loop of the same day over and over again.

If the norm for this place is that, then your conclusion seems the logical. I'm guessing there's a way to take it down?

There's definitely something weird going on! I tried staying up in my building's lounge last night, but then I woke up in my bed this morning like normal. I don't remember going to sleep at all.

This is precisely what I'm experiencing.

But that isn't what happens on Groundhog's Day at all! And that holiday isn't for another two weeks!

I think it's just happening to visitors. The locals don't seem to notice anything wrong.
