[Agatha has been working on the stuff they pulled out of the MAGI building for over a month now. All kinds of interesting research, odd looking clanks that seem to be used for visitors that need physical bodies, and a delightful array of small arms that do anything from replicate spells to supress personas entirely have been keeping her occupied for a while. People in the Saggittarius district have probably been seeing strange lights and hearing odd sounds from the already foreboding castle Heterodyne.
But now she's reached the point in her research where she needs a little help.

Specifically, she needs minions to test our some of her 'improvements' on Kandori's designs. Her voice has an excited edge to it. Not quite in the madness place, but close to it.]

This is Agatha Heterodyne. I've been working with some of the weapon designs that were salvaged from the MAGI building. The protoypes are all ready, but I'll need some minions to help me test them.

Is anyone interested?

Oh, it's really interesting. The gun emits a beam of energy that disrupts the mental connection with a persona. It only lasts a few minutes, but with some minor adjustments I think I can improve on that.

[She continues excitedly for several minutes. Blah blah resonance, blah blah frequency, blah blah technobabble. OOC: Sorry, I only have the most basic info about what the MAGI building was working on. All I know is what they were designed to do. orz ]

I've been thinking about redesigning it to work as an area effect though.

[There'll be a whole lot of interested sounding little noises coming from over in his direction, and possibly a few questions in the mix. Technobabble is his native tongue.]

A broader energy field as compared to a targeted burst? It sounds entirely plausible from the information you have given me so far. I'd have to see the specifics before I could make any further comment, but I've no reason to believe that it wouldn't work.

As a fellow scientist? Certainly. While I'm ...unversed in weapon design, the other parts of the relevant research are subjects that I've studied in quite some depth. I'd be glad for anything you wish to share.
