☔ 1st Rainy day | Video
[When the video switches on it's a bit crooked, but it's soon apparent that a child's face is staring into the watch.]
Is it on?
[Someone else off-camera must have given an affirmative answer, because now she smiles.]
Hello!
[Then she pauses. She wants to introduce herself, but that someone has just reminded her not to. When she continues speaking, the smile has faded and her voice sounds... well, like a young child who is a bit scared, but mostly confused, and also trying very hard to sound confident instead of either.]
Can anyone I know hear me?
They said I should ask because lots of people can see this, like on television! [Who 'they' is is also left unclear. But the idea of a video phone is apparently exciting, smartphones aren't exactly the norm in Inaba...] Um... So if you know me, then answer back with a video.
[Because text answers are apparently also bad. This list of rules is even longer than her Dad's.]
And don't worry, I'm okay. [This, she adds because she knows her family well enough to predict their reaction to this weird kind of message. Her Dad is probably going to yell either way, though.] ...Thank you for listening.
...Um, how do I turn it off?

As long as he's not sad, it's okay. I promised not to go anywhere.

[He paused a moment, glancing around at the small apartment almost identical to his.]
...which apartment do you want to stay in?
