[Everything was still kind of a blur for Yoshino. She remembered that odd dream about that man in the mask, and hearing something about a city in danger, but that certainly hadn't prepared her for this. Where exactly was she? This obviously wasn't Tengu City, nor anywhere else she might have recognized. It was at least an hour before she decided to try and find some help.

Somehow, she managed to turn on the camera function of the COMP. How? She has no idea. She just did. A girl with blue hair is kneeling there on the ground, sniffling like she's been crying. It also looks like its been raining, at least in an area around her. Yoshino is sad, and lost, and confused. She's not sure what to do. The only thing that really sticks out about her is the strange puppet on her left hand. It looks like some sort of rabbit with an eyepatch. And it's the puppet that talks first.]

Oh, it's recording now, isn't it? Good!

So, here's the scoop. We have no idea where we are! There was some strange dream and then...poof! Here we are. Anyone know what's going on?

[And while Yoshinon talks, Yoshino continues to be absolutely silent, save for the occasional sniffle. Yoshinon would know how to handle the situation.]

[Yoshinon starts to say something about turning the camera off, but it's cut off by the feed turning off.]

It's not that easy. I don't really know how.

[But at least the shark puppet seems sincere?]

They're really big, huh? What can you tell us about this one? Anything special about it?

Have you heard about Personas yet?

[She shakes her head. She'd heard something about them mentioned, but she hadn't been paying all that much attention.]

Not really. Why, is there something special about them?

Everyone who comes here gets one eventually. You can use it to help keep you safe at night when the monsters come out!

But we're totally fine if we just stay inside, right?

That's right! The apartments are protected against the demons with really strong magic! But it's good to have your Persona anyway, just in case.

How do you even know if you have one? Does it just appear or something?

It's different for everyone, but usually it shows up to save you when you're in trouble!

So we might never see it then, huh? It's not like we're gonna go looking for trouble or anything like that.

Sometimes unexpected things happen here even if you're not looking for trouble.

But it's all right! This city is full of very nice and helpful people, too.

Oh...

I still think we'll be alright. Ohhhhh? No one's going to try and attack us here?

No one but the demons, and some of them are even nice and helpful too. The ones that come out during the day work at some of the businesses around town.

So how're we supposed to tell the good ones from the bad ones, then?

The bad ones mostly stay in the outskirts of the city during the day and only come out during the 13th Hour. That's when it's important to either stay inside or make sure you can defend yourself if you're going to be out. Or have friends that can help you!

[Yoshino nods. Someone had mentioned the 13th Hour to her. That wouldn't really be a problem, as she'd be sleeping that time of night anyway. The mention of friends just makes her look sad again.]

We've got no problem staying inside. So just stay out of the outskirts of the city and we'll be fine?

Right! And if you still run into trouble, you can always call my friend here.

[The camera moves for a moment to show Nano's face. She smiles and gives a friendly wave before the shark puppet sticks its face in front of hers again.]

She really likes to help people, especially new people.

[Both Yoshino and Yoshinon are quiet for a moment, but then she speaks.]

...like Shido...?

[Nano moves the shark puppet to the side now that Yoshino is talking herself, but she looks a little curious at the question.]

Hmm? Is that a friend of yours?

[Yoshino nods very slowly. Yes. He's one of few friends. The first person who ever showed her any sort of kindness.]

Shido is...

Shido's a very good friend! He gets into trouble a lot, though!

[Nano giggles a little.]

I have a friend like that too.
