Good afternoon.

If anyone out there is in the situation of having been brought here unexpectedly - and given the efficiency by which I have been, I suspect this is not an uncommon occurrence - I would like to speak with you.

Is there anything I should know about life in this city at present? What are the rights and responsibilities of residents? Have you had difficulty adapting to life here? Any advice would be welcomed.
While this is less of a priority, is anyone familiar enough with the city's history as to be able to tell me how it came to be in its current condition? This is more personal curiosity, I'll admit.

In control of a 'giant monster'? I have been made aware of the existence of the demons of the thirteenth hour, but do you refer to something else?
Or is this 'giant monster' the Persona I've been informed of? I can see nothing else that I'd be newly in control of. How interesting.

Yeah, I meant the Persona. I guess it's not necessarily giant, though...

The name is familiar, but it's not something I've had a chance to encounter. Nevertheless, the name itself does give some idea of the scale. Yours is that sort of being?

Yeah. Not the imitation Heartless version, but the actual creature. Loads of people have tamer Personas than mine, of course.

You know of Heartless? From here, or from elsewhere?

What range of variation in Personas is there?

Elsewhere, but they're here too. I've only seen Purebloods, though.

Vast, I'd say. Everyone has a different one. Sometimes they're named the same, but they're all unique.

And I suppose this should not surprise me. If they are a reflection of your heart, no two hearts are the same - why should two Personas be?

That's right. Or... a reflection of your being, I guess. Since not everyone has a heart.

Well, I guess. Comes with being away from home for as long as I have been.

How long would you say you have been here, then?

Hinoto-Ri? About six months, maybe. But before that, I was in a... facility for about two years. So I've been away from home for probably three years total.

I see. Not an unreasonable length of experience, then.

Nah. I've had my share. This your first time away?

I've visited other worlds a number of times. In fact, I had to move from my native one several years back. Still, it's been a while since I've had to adapt to a new place.

Well, you can always go back, but if you want to come back here you'll need to bring someone who isn't native along.

Really? That's the first I've heard of such being the case.

You aren't stuck here. Just that most people seem to like the company, so we stick around.
