[No greetings, no introductions... Fumi's just getting right down to business.  It's not often she bothers broadcasting things over the network herself, after all.  Leaning back in her office chair briefly, she folds her arms before addressing the feed.]

For those of you who were acquainted with her, Miyako Hotsuin is no longer in the city.

[Her voice is flat and her face its usual deadpan expression as she says this.]

As this leaves me as the only official member of the JP's branch office, I will be assuming control of the newly renamed JP's Hinoto-Ri Branch.  It's been here long enough that continuing to call it the Nagoya branch seems a bit silly, and I'm relatively sure Miyako had been preparing for an official name change anyway.

[But wait, there's more.]

Additionally, following the departure of Kandori, Takeba, and Kirijo, and in view of the fact that I worked with each of them personally before the recent attack, I will also be taking over administration of the MAGI facility following the cleanup and reconstruction effort.

[No questions, no voting, she's just doing it, apparently.]

However, as there were three branches of the MAGI facility itself without even considering the resources required for the upkeep of the JP's location, I will be conducting interviews for the additional staff and personnel needed to keep things running smoothly.  For my own part, I will be acting in Takeba's capacity as the new head of the MAGI Research Branch.

At minimum, I will also require colleagues to take over Kandori and Kirijo's work as the respective heads of the Weapon and Development Branches.  Please contact me via secured network communication to apply for any of these positions or as support staff for either MAGI or JP's.  You may contact me in the same fashion if you have any questions about what the positions will entail.

Oh hey Fumi there is some kind of polygon duck coming out of your COMP now. You might recognize it from the Pokedex data Kotoha gave you.

Speaking of Kotoha, she's also showing up on the COMP's visual feed.

"Yup! Oh, uh, one more thing - if you need someone to keep the labs tidy, I can do that too. Dunno if you know him, but I can clean labs to satisfy Nikola Tesla."

[Fumi looks down at the virtual Pokemon which is now scooting around her desk, holding her hand out for it. After a moment, the Porygon hovers over. She slowly pats it on the head with a small smile.]

I won't ask how or where you met Nikola Tesla, but considering you already have limited access to the JP's building, I see no particular problems with that.

"Cool! I have school during the week and a part-time job, too, but I should be able to make it on Sundays."

You're quite the overachiever, aren't you?

[Porygon is now watching the feed as well.]

Kotoha laughs.

"A little bit, I guess! I've slowed down a little since I got here, though."

She is entirely serious.

"I have pictures from my trip, if you're interested! I don't think I've ever told you about the mall I manage, have I?"

I don't believe you have.

[Fumi glances over at Porygon, which is now trying to lift her hand off the desk with its face.]

"I wandered into an abandoned mall, and the owner just gave me a job as the manager. And I managed to turn it into an international tourist destination. Very popular with Brazilians."

Was this before, during, or after the time you were also a movie star?

[Fumi lifts her hand, and Porygon wriggles under it, rubbing its head up against her.]

...It's rather affectionate, isn't it?

"During. And yeah, it really seems to like you! Grand Mal was a lot more standoffish at first then this guy is."

It's customary to give Pokemon names, isn't it?

"Varies, but yeah! I know I always give names to anything I seriously intend to train, at least."

[Fumi glances down at Porygon for a moment, thinking.]

How about Laplace?

[It tilts its head to the side at the name before nodding back at her.]
