Okay, first off, I have to say: I really hope that wasn't an attempt to get us on your side, Tomokazu and whoever you're working with. Because frankly, murdering scientists and kids, or whatever the hell you've done with them, is mostly only ever going to make people want to stop you. It doesn't make you look badass, or like you've got a cause you're willing to go to extremes for.
It makes you look like a bunch of crazy, evil bastards who need to be put down. And the last person I thought that about was a demon who was destroying the fabric of space-time in my town. So if you were trying to make me angry, good job, you've done it. And that's just me having, you know, morals. Imagine how anybody who actually knew these people feels.
And don't think I noticed the attempt to make it sound like it was our fault for not doing enough. I'm not going to get into an argument about whether we could have done more or not. But the "look what you made me do" thing isn't going to work. There is no possible way to make attacking ten separate people entirely by surprise the fault of anybody but the people who orchestrated the attack. That's like saying "Why are you making me kick this puppy?"
If this is an attempt to get us to band together in the face of a common threat, well, you've certainly made me want to. That still doesn't make you any less of a sick bunch of assholes. I have met people actively trying to end the world who struck me as less evil than this.
I'm lousy at noble speeches. I ramble too much and I'm just plain not really eloquent. But just in conclusion: you've made at least one enemy tonight, and I don't care if I'm alone on this - I will do everything I can to rescue these people and take you down. But I'd prefer not to be. Hinoto-Ri, are we going to let them get away with this?

...I mean, it's pretty par for the course as far as villain speeches go. You hear one, you hear 'em all. I'd put this guy in... cliche #15 - thinks he's funny, pretends to be nice, trades conversation with you while you try and stab each other in the face.

Maybe he just likes putting on a performance, then. He is a reporter, right? Or, I guess, was.
It doesn't make much sense, though. If he wants us to do something, why is he creating extra work away from Hinoto-Ri? It seems like a distraction more than anything.

I think he's enjoying playing the villain a little too much. He's obviously not working alone, whatever he's doing - and I seriously doubt he's in charge.

If he's a herald of what's to come, maybe it's just part of a script he's supposed to read. I saw him during the pit fight with the demons - he was pretty scared out of his mind then, and I don't think it was entirely fake.
