[As the emergency message plays, the issues with the network become evident. A few minutes after the first wave is sent out, the power shuts completely down in both apartment complexes (this includes the teleporters) and most of the city, apart from what buildings have secondary power (the town hall and the hospital).

Attempting to send a message on the the network now takes an incredibly long time and causes visual errors as above. Outside, you can hear the panic in the streets and people begin to wonder what happens. Then the ground shakes so loudly that it feels like an earthquake hit the city. A giant fireball explodes off in the distance; those that know the place may recognize where the M.A.G.I. conduct their research.
