The spotlights, blue-tinted of course, flash over him as he turns, his body language loose and relaxed, complete with prop glitter for the effect of ~glamour~ as he points out to the crowd lined up before the arcade. Neon signs flicker in the background, marking the opening ceremony for the tournament.

Then, in the heat of the moment, he pulls out an oval-shaped hat box with a baseball bat rammed through it with naught but some rubber bands to act as guitar strings. Hinata steps forward, the spotlights following him to reveal the DDR mat on stage.

The crowd abruptly stops cheering. The mental image shatters under the weight of its own failure.

It visibly takes him another minute to compose himself after that brief mental vacation.]
